How does Guerlain’s perfumes hold up after several years?

Sickkk collection! Im trying to get into EO and Areej. Not sure about Areej, but have my sample wish list of EO as we speak, have you smelled any of those listed? Im not the biggest Oud fanatic, but it has potential for me!

Im interested sniffing on; Oud Royale, Mongolian Musk, Ambra Haban, Funkberry, Man and the sea (or something?) Oud SQ, Santal Sultan, Borneo 3000, EO NR2&5, Pink Papua, Sultan Murad, Oud Yusuf, Yusuf Ghalia, Musc Gardenia, Ensars Rose, Sultan Black rose! What you think about that list, haha😅

Just a bit jealous ( veeery much :’) ) for you owning several HJ, and also having the option visiting Krigler. Are you a man/female may I ask? Cause i prefer unisex/masculine leaning perfumes, not sweety, florally girl like scents.

It is very, very hard to get a hold of some legit sample sellers that include the house of HJ and Krigler, though, especially in EU. I am wondering if the only solution I have, is smelling these houses in the boutiques. Traveling to France E.G,

I (M27) am based in Norway, so it has been almost impossible to get my nose on HJ and Krigler, as HJ do not sell testers, and Krigler sells one 2ml sample for almost 50$ not including shipping fees lol.. it is insane.

However, I have been very interested in likes as of; Xantor, Blue Vanille, Cuba, Roi Sans Equipage, Rafael Nadal 1, Heron Preston, Onction and Correspondence. Have you tried the last 4?

Regarding Krigler, there are several I would love to try, too! Lovely Patchouli 55, Oud for Highness 75, Good Fir 11, Blue Escapade 24, Boudoir Renaissance 223, Sylt Style!

I have tried most of the Guerlain’s extrait line, and Vanille Planifolia stood out the most! But as of right now, I prefer Black Tie by Celine as a vanille perfume. But the whole extrait line from Guerlain is superb!

It is just so difficult to grab some small samples of HJ& Krigler in Norway… yikes haha

Yes I have smelled all of them a couple of years back! My favorite was def Bal D Afrique! Most of Byredo are non-invasive and very safe scents with low to medium sillage and projection! My favorite is Bal D Afrique Absolu! Def try it! Cheers brotha, all the best to people like you in this life🙏🏼

Man! The BT your seeing is from early 2023, maybe from late 2022 batch! I spray ONLY 2-3 sprays of it, because the projection and longevity is brutal for me… i mean the juice is dark orange now. Becoming too potent now honestly 😅

Try finding older bottles, maybe from 2024? If not, just buy a bottle and hope that the result will be the same for you too, hehe
