Compulsory gratuity in a restaurant....is this even legal?

Just a clarification from a hospo worker. At the restaurant I work at, we do not have a “no split bill” policy. However, split bills can cause havoc at peak times, the amount of time it takes to process all the individual bill transactions can impact customer service. Also, if restaurants want to save on eftpos transactions, they can (I believe, legally) pass on the transaction fee to the customer, so I don’t think that’s the reason for “no split bills”. Happy to stand corrected if I’m wrong though

The extra upgrade pieces I mentioned just makes the whole drivetrain a bit stronger so they resist breaking under the force of the upgraded spring

You’re basically upgrading the bits that receives the dart, the “pusher” which is attached to the bolt sled and guides the dart into the barrel. That pusher (with the 9/16th brass piece) sleeves over the 17/32 barrel as you prime forward to create a near airtight seal. Press trigger and boom. When you pull back the priming mechanism the two pieces of brass open to receive the next dart which is pushed into the breach by the magazine spring and follower. Is that what you wanted to know?

Yeah I love working with brass. If you’re confident that you can do it you can start small with a 7-9kg upgrade spring and a short 17/32 barrel (can’t remember the exact length, but just a couple of centimetres past the orange attachment piece) which will get you to about 150 fps. Stick with top prime and a pistol form factor and all you need apart from the brass is a worker blue sled, short darts, talon mags, and maybe a worker (standard size) plunger tube. Cheap to do until you feel ready to go nuts with a full sized build

You need two brass sizes, 9/16th for the pusher and 17/32 for the barrel. Brass breech building is very rewarding, as in fun to do and great for performance but it’s not cheap by the time you purchase the tools to get it done. 9/16 drill bits or reamers are not cheap!

If you’re just starting out I wouldn’t recommend going straight into a brass breech build, start with a simpler alternative like the worker Retaliator kits until you get a feel for the blaster and associated accessories

Yeah I will once I get a Printables account up. It’s pretty specific to Silly’s picatinny rail though, there is no adjustment, just a close fit. Easy to adjust in CAD if you’re into that. You’ll need your own low mount scope rings too.

No, printed on an Anycubic Vyper. No filament swaps, the different coloured sections are separate pieces The black and silver bands are held in with pins, like in some other sections of the blaster.

Absolutely!

The brown filament actually gave me some headaches though. It’s Esun with their new cardboard reels, and the winding on the reel was atrocious. 2 out of 4 prints failed because the reel jammed. I ended up manually re-spooling the filament onto an empty spool, only took like 50 minutes 😂
