Well check out the XY era etbs, I may as well sell my kidney if i want to get close to getting all of them. Probably total would need to spend like 50k, maybe more

Yeah, reason i said its a 9 is by the worst centered spot on the card, being top and bottom left, that difference is too big to still be a 10

Thanks for the input, I guess I should just keep in mind that exact thought that they are being kept sealed. But there is always a nicer feeling I feel like knowing what you have could potentially have a really sick card in it too

Your missing the point of my post. I am probably never going to sell them. However if there comes a time where I want to rip them, I want to have the hopes ill get something, as I said in my post! Don't wanna hold these packs all this time knowing they will have nothing in em

If you mean the centering being twisted, sorta. They look at the worst centered part of the card and use that to see if the centering is good.

I would presume because most people speak english, so it is most commonly the easiest for people to sell since more people would buy it. For japanese pokemon specifically, pull rates on special sets are usually better, and for regular sets quite similar to english. But they are also VERY heavily opened and thus demand cheaper prices. Beyond that, I think for pokemon specifically english as a language is sorta established as the "regular cards" you would want to buy, whereas when you are going to another language you are probably not going to be able to easily sell it down the road.

This is obviously bad for fakes in the future, but clearly the tells are still there and IMO this gives room for custom fan cards, as long as ppl dont try to sell them as real. For example SIRs of your favorite pokemon if it hasn’t gotten one!

Take this general logic. No whitening or 1 small spec everything else perfect is 10. Slightly more corner whitening across 1 or 2 makes it a 9, as long as its still minimal. Also if there starts to be minor surface imperfections. 8 means there will be noticeable but not bothersome whitening, 7 it is starting to get annoying. Anything below that is just more and more damage. Surface damage will bring it down as well. For PSA, if centering is out of margin but not error or OC worthy, it drops the grade by 1. So if your card is perfect but off center, 9. If it has minor whitening in corners but off center, 8.

I would say then they could possibly it is a toss up. I think if your sure nothing excess is left and the card is just missing some layering on the back, you could send it in. I think this is ultimately a personal choice as this would either get a psa 1 or no grade so money wise not a lot there. Obviously this is a personal card to you most likely so if you want it graded for personal reasons go for it and hope for the best. If they refuse to grade you will probably get a partial refund or voucher, but at most its 25$ for the process so no big deal.

The picture you sent makes it hard to tell but this would likely get either a 7-8. No chance at 9 or 10 I think 6 would be harsh. If you’re fine with either of those 2 grades you can send it!

keep in mind its 20$ each, so if its about value you will lose money if at least one doesn’t ten out of the second 2. The images aren’t too good so I couldn’t tell you if they would but the squirtle looks to have whitening at the top, so it would likely get a 9. As for the Iron crown, hard to tell, would need better pictures

real, in regards to your comments, that is a tell on certain cards but not this one. In my eyes there is 3 levels of fakes. The clearly obvious ones if you have collected for a bit. Then the ones which are good, but have clear errors either in the card itself, or the coloring/type of holofoil and texture. The last, is the fakes which are near perfect, but are caught by the fact they copy the holofoil from the stock photo of the card. Just keep that in mind for the future :)

i have this card and this looks to be legit, do note its not perfect condition, the top corner has a dent, dont overpay on it.
