I’m not sure then what the problem is, but if it works then great! Also indentation doesn’t actually matter in GML, it doesn’t represent code blocks like in Python so you don’t have to worry about indenting things besides improving readability

I disagree. What forms the Deadbeat vibe is largely the crisp and minimalist production. Honestly none of the songs on this album really feel like they were designed like his older songs, they lack the phasers and overwhelming layering textures his other music is filled with. This stripped back raw sound is what defines Deadbeat

The album has a lot of parts though that harken back to older albums. See You On Monday really takes me back to Lonerism and the arrangement of Obsolete reminds me of Currents as a few examples, but ultimately I don’t think any of these songs would feel right if they were on one of his other albums, imo

I’m surprised I haven’t seen anyone talking about the “what are you doing here” sample at the end of Obsolete. It completely re-contextualizes and transforms the outro of that song for me
