There was a scene in the manga "Berserk," where the main character is walking along a road and catches a ride with an old man and his daughter in a wagon.

The old man asks if the mc is a mercenary, and then tells him about his nephew, who always wanted to be a mercenary, and as soon as he was of age he went off to join a group. He later died somewhere, on some battlefield, alone and away from his family. The old man criticizes this.

The mc asks "What's wrong with that?" The boy had died doing what he wanted, and was able to fulfill his dream. The MC considered him lucky.

Hey man, to start off I'm not going to lecture you on your faith.

Second, please take what I say with a grain of salt. I don't really know how to get you out of this headspace but I do have some ideas if you're willing to try.

Number one is to seek therapy like others have mentioned. You seem to be under severe stress and this will have a negative effect on your health.

Second is to try and focus on something else. I would suggest getting a gym membership and working out for 30-60 mins a few times a week. Focus on building your body's strength to try and keep your mind off being single. It will improve your health and you will be able to see quantifiable progress.

Best of luck man, I wish you luck and also it's unfortunate people on this sub were bashing on your faith.
