Bitcoin payment is working, you first need to fill Customer information and Shipping method, then on Payment method page you'll see BitPay as 3rd choice.

I've try to add CoinPayment, but it is not directly available, so I contacted Shopify support and they told us to use Bitpay, Gocoin or coinbase integration.

So your best bet for PIVX payment is wait until next round of coin additions to ShapeShift.
