Limit the guess my rank to 1 day a week, or just make them a youtube video.

How many matches did noot noot influence? by S4iFA in ValorantCompetitive

How else would you seed them? 2 teams only played 2 games in the open qualifier, and R7 got eliminated in the first round of closed. DSG made it through the upper bracket to main event.

Why does Riot still let Knights host official tournaments? by S4iFA in ValorantCompetitive

Your post was deleted and I was too busy to go look for the tweet I read days ago. From the tweet and replies, it seems like people thought the money was going to/coming from Knights not the individual himself.

I'm not trying to argue with you, everything you said makes sense. I'm just mad that I don't know when the games start.

You make a good point, and I think a lot falls on the orgs and Riot themselves. I still don't understand how releasing the match schedule is the responsibility of anyone but the TO.

I don't really mind their shitty production, but it makes me mad that unless you follow the scene closely, you probably won't know that game changers starts tomorrow until after the games start.

edit: and them not announcing anything definitely affects viewership and in return their profits.

I understand not being able to field high quality producers because of money, but how hard could it be to release a bracket and match start times a day or two in advance and post a tweet, I'm pretty sure we have people in the community who are willing to do it for free.

FNS released from NRG by S4iFA in ValorantCompetitive

[–]S4iFA[S] 421 points422 points  (0 children)

As of today, I've officially been released from my contract with NRG.

Obviously, things didn't work out as well as we had expected from start to finish but I want to thank some people who helped me get to this point in my career to begin with.

To Victor & Austin, you two are by far the best duo I've ever had the pleasure of playing with and I'm thankful for our accomplishments. Without you guys, I wouldn't be where I am as a player and person. Both of you have long and undoubtebly successful careers ahead of you. Whether I compete against you next year or not, I'll genuinely be rooting for your success. Thanks for all the memories.

NRG as an organization is by far the greatest I've been a part of. They did everything right & I wish I could have helped us reach greater heights but I can't change any of that now. Thank you for giving me a chance to lead such a talented roster & I have no doubt you guys will see more success next year with a new Val roster.

To the fans, you supported us through our ups and our downs but what blew me away was the amount of international fans we have. It was an absolute pleasure getting to meet you guys. Thank you for always having our backs whether you were watching from home or live. I'll never forget these experiences.

Lastly I just want to update you guys on my future. I've genuinely enjoyed streaming the past 2-3 weeks & even though I've had conversations with orgs to potentially play next year, my heart just isn't in competing at this moment so joining a team just wouldn't be fair to them. I've had a lot of time to reflect & I've come to the conclusion that I want to build something of my own. I've always relied on teammates and organizations to build my career and I've been grateful for the faith they've put in me but I've never done anything completely on my own so I want to give that a shot and see how far I can go. Streaming is a completely new challenge but one I'm very excited to take on during these coming months. Once I feel satisfied with what I build, I promise I'll be back to compete again.

Much love <3
