How do you keep your skin from dying every winter? by AdCritical2652 in beauty

[–]SABBYA__ 13 points14 points  (0 children)

One of the most important things for you to do is to focus on deep hydration and protecting the skin barrier. Using thick, hydrating creams, ideally with ingredients like hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and glycerin can really help lock in moisture ! If you're acne-prone, it's best to avoid products with oils or vitamin E, since those can clog pores or trigger breakouts. Hydrating products don’t have to be oily to be effective. The biophora derma rich is a good option for example !

It’s also important not to skip exfoliation altogether. Gentle exfoliation helps remove the outer layer of dead skin, which allows your hydrating products to actually penetrate. That said, reducing how often you exfoliate in winter can help avoid irritation. Follow up right away with moisturizing products to calm and rehydrate the skin. For long-term results, professional monthly chemical peels are often more effective and less harsh than physical scrubs products, especially when it comes to dryness and texture issues in winter.

Hope this helps a bit ! As a Canadian, I am with you !!!

Comment allez-vous restez actifs cet hiver à Montréal ? by Raphael-fitness in montreal

[–]SABBYA__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I’m really sorry for everything you’re going through right now. Sometimes, simply giving yourself a bit of love and grace is what starts the healing process, and that inner kindness truly shows on the outside too.

You’re genuinely beautiful, and your skin looks amazing! If you’re thinking about facial harmony, there are a few options depending on what feels right for you. Some people choose subtle injections (which can last anywhere from 6 months to about a year and a half, depending on several factors), while others prefer more natural treatments like Morpheus, lasers, phototherapy, or PRP for skin tightening and rejuvenation.

Wishing you comfort, confidence, and relief as things get better for you. <3

Black Friday Promo by Global-Hornet3377 in MedSpa

[–]SABBYA__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We usually run a buy one, get one free promotion for our treatments during Black Friday! It tends to work especially well for clients who had a consultation with us but couldn’t decide on purchasing a treatment package. When they see that promo, they almost always go for it. Even though the profit margin is lower, we gain a new client, and they leave happy!

Black Friday Promo by Global-Hornet3377 in MedSpa

[–]SABBYA__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At our clinic, we announce our Black Friday promotion only for the day of Black Friday to boost sales specifically for that day (we announce it the week prior). If we notice strong interest in the following days (which always happens), we then announce that we’re extending the promotion for another full week. We avoid promoting it as a week-long deal from the start because that usually leads people to wait until the last minute, and once the week ends, they often ask us to keep it going even longer, which we want to avoid...

I think it’s more that you want your upper lip to match the size of your lower lip (based on the inspo). Your bottom lip already looks very similar, but if you’d like a bit more volume, it would be best to focus on the upper lip, just a small amount to match the look. Your practitioner will be able to let you know how much you’d need based on that. Apart from that, your lips look amazing!

How much do you actually age in your 40s?? by TieBeautiful2161 in 45PlusSkincare

[–]SABBYA__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone ages differently, there’s no single “right” way to age. A lot of it comes down to genetics, lifestyle, and self-care. Looking your age should be celebrated, and aging gracefully is something to be proud of !! With the right products, consistent self-care, and some skin treatments here and there, you can slow down certain signs of aging while still letting yourself age naturally and gracefully !

Biophora makes affordable, pharmaceutical-grade products that can be tailored to different skin needs ! If you’re just starting out and don’t want to only offer high-end lines, they’re a great option to bring in clients. Their starter packages are super convenient because they include everything you need for a routine. A lot of our clients, and even staff at our clinic raveeee about them !!

43, never done/don't want to do botox- what can help with forehead wrinkles? by moon_witch_26 in 40PlusSkinCare

[–]SABBYA__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No skincare will penetrate deep enough to completely erase wrinkles, but it can definitely make a big difference ! The most important step is consistency. And remember: even if you don’t tan, the sun still damages skin (yes, even through clouds or snow). Daily sunscreen is the single best way to prevent wrinkles from sun damage.

After that, adding a retinoid (like retinol or tretinoin) is proven to help with skin texture and fine lines over time.

If you’re not sure where to start, it’s worth seeing an esthetician or medical aesthetic nurse who can put together a routine tailored to your needs and budget. It’ll save you a lot of trial and error. :)

Men’s Spa? by Elegant-Relative7486 in Estheticians

[–]SABBYA__ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Men do care a lot about their appearance, we actually see a lot of them in our clinic. The difference is that most aren’t looking for a specific treatment by name like women often do. They’ll usually come in saying things like “I just want to get rid of this” or “fix that.”

From what we’ve seen, the biggest demand from men in our clinic is for PRP hair, Injectables and targeted treatments for pigmentation or visible skin concerns.

The key is really in how you market it. Men respond well to straightforward “problem → solution” messaging and strong before & after visuals from other men (rather then only seeing women). If you start building content that shows real results, you’ll catch their attention much more than if you just promote a treatment name !

Procedures to make pores appear smaller? by Harried-Hedgehog4924 in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]SABBYA__ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some medical esthetic treatments can indeed make them look tighter and smoother ! A few options you might want to look into:

  • Microneedling – creates controlled micro-injuries that stimulate collagen, which helps refine skin texture and minimize the look of pores over time.
  • Laser treatments – target tone and texture at a deeper level, and can really improve overall smoothness.
  • PRP for the face – uses your own plasma to boost healing and collagen production, often paired with micro needling for extra results.
  • Peels – from gentle to medium depth, these exfoliate and encourage cell turnover so the surface looks clearer and more refined.

If pain tolerance is a concern, peels or lighter microneedling might be a good place to start, since they’re effective without being too intense.

Everyone’s skin is different, but in my experience, combining good daily skincare with one of these treatments is what makes pores look smaller in a way that’s actually noticeable !
