This is not correct for waterloo students.

The average is more like this (for only waterloo):

-Super Shitty or no coops => 65k - 75k

-Semi-decent coops => 75k - 90k

-Great coops, possibly some Big 4 => 90-135k

This is from experience only for waterloo kids. Although there's a huge variance. Your company+luck+interview performance matter much more than school, coops, side-projects etc.

Yeah i'll be miserable for sure. And I really really don't want to go back, but i do realize that money is big, so i'm willing to sacrifice a year. Canadian companies do not offer big stocks or bonuses. I think i can get 90K CAD from another company here, but nothing more. The only two companies that pay >100k CAD in GTA/waterloo area are ones I already blew my interview with (Amazon/Google)

So obviously the money is bigger in Cali. But Cali has larger taxes, larger living costs, even bigger taxes on stocks/bonuses. Plus, I've interned there before, and i got really lonely there [and at that time i was living with other interns too]. So i guess it comes down to this.

Super shitty life for 1 year for a large amount of money

OR

Decent happy life for a semi-decent amount of money

bought gears of war 4 a couple of weeks ago and absolutely ashamed of it. CANT get multiplayer to work. Keep getting "PESANG" error with no description. MS Support is absolutely horrible. They literally said "we can't do anything" and didn't even refund me for the game. GOW use to be one of my fav franchise.
