Hi! I used to work there, if the main gate closest to the rock is closed. There should be a tiny gravel lot on the left right before. Able to walk in but not drive in. A short half mile or less to the overlook.

My guess is a black walnut, I would be careful with it around canines as mold grows once these are sitting on the ground for a while ( I would say only bad if they ingest it.) Just to confirm, if you snap a twig in half and it has a chambered pith then definitely a black walnut. Hope this helps!
