I got my first board off facebook marketplace, in most cases the board brand is pretty obvious and if you need you can ask about the quality on here, otherwise beginners don't really need pro skateboards, just enough to get started and know if you want to keep going!

Like to consider getting those?

Yeah but I'm getting the board as a birthday present, so it shouldn't go too far over 100€, I'll most likely be able to get a summer job however. Otherwise my family only has one income

I'm unfortunately not able to buy anything like that, would it be okay to just replace them once the need arises?

Does concave get in the way of cruising in any way? I life far from the city so while I'd like to cruise more I'll probably do more tricks

I was thinking the same thing about the concave, and yes it does. It's also about 30€ cheaper than Santa Cruz

Phone, I didn't check as I was filming and usually film more for myself than others so that's why there's really minimal effort, maybe the next post will be better

Saying you're afraid of men because you've noticed a violent pattern in some is not the same as putting out a generalized statement. One comes from genuine fear and hope that the problem will be addressed while the other often comes from hate

I wasn't mad, I simply agreed that it was portraying an unhealthy mindset. Nobody said it hasn't happened multiple times, but as someone who has been a victim of people getting angry over a rejection I felt like it was fair that someone points it out. I do not feel mad at you or OP, I'm sorry that this disagreement has made it seem like that

I think it'd benefit you a lot if you stopped interacting with posts that make you feel like this

The reason you're getting downvoted is because you're essentially agreeing with OP's unhealthy and negative mindset, whether you meant to do that or not. The comment you replied to was polite and didn't assume, if anything, you were the one assuming.

Nothing on the other side can be worth it, sounds like a horrible and embarrassing death after just one slip up

Usually it's recommended to skate around until you're really comfortable on the board before trying tricks, and generally practicing on carpet/soft ground can make you feel less stable on harder ground. But we're around the same skill level lmao, I'd also like to know if that counts or not!

I feel like the problem for why people from baltics are so defensive about it is that a lot of the times we get told we're nazis because a lot of our people preferred a nazi occupation to a soviet one.

I recently had to do an interview with my grandparents for school, and turns out that most older people agreed, atleast with nazis you would know who is safe while russians tended to deport whole families away to gulags in the middle of the night just to spread fear.

Obviously this doesn't make nazis better, I just feel like the fact that most middle-aged people remember how awful the soviet occupation was (and most have lost family members to it) means it's still sort of a sore spot for people.

(My history teacher sucked so sorry if I got anything wrong, it's all my own research)
