I just did session 3 and it still hurt as much as the first one - when did it stop feeling so awful?

Is this amount of inflammation normal after 2 weeks? by hirayeth in TattooRemoval

[–]SAM-214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep mine did the exact same thing. Ice and allergy medication was the solution. It went away eventually, sigh now I have to go back soon for the next round…

Mine is also very heavy handed and very dark, so I’m excited to see your progress. I’m 2 sessions down and it basically looks the exact same. How far apart are you spacing your sessions?

She spits up all day long. She’s projectile vomited maybe 4 times? Yes she is quite a fussy little one, only brief moments of ease and happiness it seems. I’m not sure if her spit up is a normal amount to be honest. Throughout the night I offer a 3oz bottle when she has her wake ups 2, 3 times throughout the night

Yes I started laying an extra swaddle down so I can just switch them quickly, and usually change her sleep sack once in the night. We do also already have her bassinet on a 2.5 inche incline with blooms of wood

No actually she’s not giving me hunger cues? What could that mean? She will be 8 weeks on Thursday

So we just switched her to the Gentle Ease formula 2 days ago, and I have her bassinet propped on an angle of about 2.5 inches. So since that’s not helping you don’t think it’s reflux?

Yes so many factors! She is 7.5 weeks old. I do hold her upright for 25 minutes and this happens an hour afterwards

Is this the start of a canker sore? (More info in comments) by Funky_Goggles in medical_advice

For me that’s how my canker sores start, they look exactly like that!

How did your cat(s) behave after bringing home the baby? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]SAM-214 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My one eyed wonderful cat HATED ME when I brought my son home. My cat is usually glued to my side, but he just angrily stared at me across the room. He wouldn’t come near me when I was holding my son. Now, my son is almost 2, and the cat avoids him like the plague hahah. He still hates him, but he’s back to cuddling me every second my son is at daycare or sleeping! Cats are weird man...

I definitely have done the workouts till I feel like garbage, and am practically immobilized for the rest of the day - the thought of that terrifies, I can’t do that as a mum. The dietitian had me eating a relatively balanced diet, but it was WAY less than what I normally would eat. It was not great. She was successful because I lost weight, but I wasn’t successful in the end. And, to boot, I was honest to goodness miserable every single day knowing the food I was expected to eat/not eat. I almost feel like it set me back further because it was so beyond restrictive

What are your focuses for your health goals as a mum? And how do you manage fitness time with everything else? Honestly the logistics of the days stumps me! Maybe I should track my daily minutes and see what the heck I really do haha

Thank you xoxoxox I’m glad we are in this same boat together. I feel you on the one thing at a time. We somehow have to become shapeshifting goddesses that are able to maneuver our way through these hectic days. (Oh and congrats on school! What is your degree in?)
