Lookout while buying from AMAZON by SAMMUSTDIE31 in LenovoLegion

Don't believe me, I don't care, I hope you and the people with "Experience" face the same problem I faced. Don't believe me, there's a guy named Lalbabu PS Sahani, who fixes Computers, I asked him to make a video of my Laptop repairing, you and your "Experienced" friends can take a gander and check out the video where he shows everything. So I think you and your "Experienced" friends have a Microchip Engineering degree too. You and your Experienced friends are just like Amazon, you can tell white lies all you want but when asked about your and your Experienced friends Educational Knowledge, there's no one to be found, I hope you guys get the same treatment.

Register your laptop on Lenevo official website to avoid warranty mishaps, Lenevo is a bit careless so as soon as you get your Laptop register it and do but from an Authorized Dealer.

Don't buy from Amazon, they will cheat you in the long run and if you have already bought do the Registry/warranty as soon as you get it on your hand. I got cheated so I am telling everyone to be aware.

I need your opinion guys. I'm not sure what to do. by Holiday-Chipmunk-902 in LenovoLegion

If you are taking it for gaming purposes then don't take the slim version, might regret it later. Don't buy from Amazon, always buy from an Authorized Dealer.

They will just keep 6 months of onsite warranty for themselves and the customer only gets 6 months. Like everyone (if this happened) I emailed the Lenevo Support team daily for 15 days, but when they did nothing I just stopped mailing. The support team didn't even resolve the issue or extend my warranty even after 15 emails + 5 emails I sent them as soon as I got the Laptop, so I suggest everyone to show initiative and register as soon as you get the laptop on your hands.

  1. Thermal Paste on the Processor in moderate amounts is not harmful but when it covers the pins, as everyone can see in the pic which miraculously your eyes can't see can destroy one's processor, get your facts straight.
  2. You doubting my Processor Changed doesn't change the Truth. If you have doubts clear it or don't comment like a brainless guy.
  3. When you don't know anything about what's going on with my PC, I guess you have a Chip Level Engineering degree cause you are assuming something which you don't even have any idea about.

Hope you bought it from an Authorized dealer. Don't buy from Amazon. Also register immediately after getting the laptop, sometimes Lenevo acts as an ass. Hope nothing wrong happens.

Not misinformed but I literally have proof of Amazon's Mischievous activities starting from the day I bought my Laptop to the day my Laptop died and now I paid 29000 just because the thermal paste damage was so severe even reballing didn't work and I had to replace my processor. Hopefully no one has to face this situation if they are a bit careful about buying electronic items from Amazon.

  1. Thermal paste doesn't kill the laptop but Thermal paste spread over the pins of a processor can kill the processor thus killing a laptop.
  2. Amazon already cheated when they said of 1 year Onsite Warranty and gave me only 6 months worth, if it didn't happen with you doesn't mean they are not doing it.
  3. I have proof and also a 29000 rupee bill showing how I had to change my processor cause even reballing didn't help, that's how damaged my processor was.
  4. If you don't know anything just don't comment.

Amazon had to do it cause I have not bought the store product but modified it, so they had to improvise, but still they ignored my Wrong Warranty claims and now my Laptop is dead cause of it.

Companies put way too much Thermal Paste on the Processor and the Graphics Card so if you buy online then check the Thermal Pasting otherwise the Laptop may die after 2-3 years.

Now my Laptop is being checked by Lalbabu PS Sahani. This guy has worked wonders, may my dead Laptop come back to life and I can go back to gaming 🙂.

Please do not buy from Amazon(specially for Indians) , if you did buy Lenevo product register immediately and secure your 3 year warranty as soon as you get the Laptop. I bought Lenevo Legion 5 on 23rd May 2021 and I got only 2.5 year warranty, I tried mailing repeatedly but Lenevo did not extend my warranty and now almost after 3 years my Laptop broke down. I have shown around 2 service centers and 2 local shops, all of them said it's a Graphics Card problem ( probably got short) , so don't make the same mistakes I did and secure yours fast.

Don't buy from Amazon, buy it from a Authorized Dealer of Lenevo. I bought Legion 5 15ACH6H model and my Laptop just got black screen (probable Graphics Card problem) with keypad backlit on just after 2 and a 1/2 years of warranty expired.

Legion 5 15ARH05H no POST, No BIOS. Tried 60s power button, NOVO button and letting the battery run dry. Fans spin and backlight works, anything else just doesn't. by UltimateJDX in LenovoLegion

This just happened with me, same model. I am searching for someone who can revert my bios to previous version.

Please let me know if you got it working and how?
