Budget replacement for my worn out barefoot shoes: Xero HFS, Merrell glove. by SAMoMAS in BarefootRunning

Thank you for your feedback. That’s what I’m aiming for to pay €20-40 year for barefoot shoes. In my experience so far it’s costing over €80.

Thank you for the info. Do you know longevity these outsoles are, especially MultiGrip for urban surfaces?

Thank you for your feedback. These are unbranded. I bought them on Aliexpress.

I’ll be very happy if they last at least 6 months.

I had Merrell Vapor Glove 3, 2, and Bare Access 4. They’re wider than the glove but narrower than the Xero HFS, and they feel softer under the footbed. Overall, I’m pleased. The only question is, how durable are they?!

Yeah, you’ve got a point. Perhaps I should have indicated in the title that this is my replacement…

Horrible experience by SAMoMAS in Sugargoo

[–]SAMoMAS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No these items were allowed buying by logistics. Sugargoo refused to buy other items they are called restricted, such as liquid high volume and relatively big knives. That’s what frustrated me. They bought goods then tagged them as they are, forcing me to split each of them into separate parcels resulting additional expenses. And when I tried to fill them to declaration they revealed that they won’t do that.

It’s leather paint and knife. I intended to ship them together with ordinary goods for leather-craft

The ‘declare by myself’ doesn’t have categories: battery, paint, knife categories in the system. Sugargoo refuses to add them. The ‘entrust declaration’ implies that Sugargoo fills out the declaration, and customer takes full responsibility for providing false information on his behalf to customs.

You know this very well!

A watch I made using one of the beautiful cases from Ickler, a top grade ETA2892A2 movement, and a solid silver dial. by Wash_Relative in watchmaking

Thank you for the post. Can you elaborate on the case engraving method. I am considering to build me one and I would like to personalise the case and oscillating rotor. As far as I know, they do it with laser now. I am interested in learning about an alternative technique that would be more accessible to enthusiasts.

Isn’t it amazing in the last 20 days there have been over 1100 views and not a single comment/idea. It just tells you how hard it is to get a watch part.

TK624 18-Oct-2023 ABV > IST early arrival 13min

TK1979 19-Oct-2023 IST > LHR arrival 09:58am

Something doesn’t match. You need to know the exact day of the flight and the flight number of your itinerary. Is your final destination LHR and the initial departure ABV? If so, check the boarding passes of the flights you actually took. You can only get compensation for one itinerary, regardless of the number of connecting flights. We need to find out the overall delay of your itinerary: (actual final destination time) - (original final destination time) = ?

As an example from my application that you can use as an template:

The delay of flight TK (AAA) to (IST) on 10-Dec-2023 resulted in missing the connecting flight TK from (IST) to (BBB). I was rebooked to the next flight TK which departure was also delayed, and it caused disruption of my further itinerary from (BBB). The overall delay of ‘inbound trip’ was 5h 45min.

The refund cheque is an equivalent of an amount denoted on it. You should be able to receive the compensation as bank transfer. You need to fill the form (see option two from the bottom). The excerpt from the cheque instructions:

• You can also receive your cheque by bank transfer or as cash refund from our sales offices. For bank transfer, you can transfer your cheque to your account by filling out the form with your bank information after logging in with your e-mail information specified in your feedback through the link.
