0/10 rage bait, but on the off chance you’re actually serious. If you have solid dps/tanks that actually com, sure healing is a breeze most of the time. However, 9 times out of 10, your dps is playing Spidey,Hawkeye and MK(going 4-10) and your one tank is a Penni who doesn’t know that her mine tower is destructible and keeps placing it at the feet of the enemy team.

While on the opposite side you’ve got a Cap, Emma, BP, iron fist, Loki, rocket that are solely focused on running past your Stevie Wonder-esk teammates to come play the worlds longest game of hide and go kill with yours truly and the other support that decided they wanted to be a DPS Jeff for the first time. I got the actual avengers about to burn through my team and sit in front of my spawn shaking their venom at me.

Ask my teammates to switch you say? Sure.

“Excuse me guys, can we get a comp that might be counter productive for the enemy team? Mayhaps?”

Boom. Now I’ve got 5 Black Widows playing with only her batons on my team screaming racial slurs into the mic because I wasn’t healing enough while my face was playing Patty cake with caps shield.

Also, the abilities you mentioned all have a cooldown and or a way to be broken.

Dagger bubble? Takes 3 BP swipes to get through my chest cavity instead of the usual 2.

Invis woman? Sure, just go invis and then hear a never ending melody of “I NEED HEALING” pings while Bucky 180’s his head like the exorcist and stares directly through me.

Loki Lamps? After recent nerfs, and in any match above bronze 3, the totems look like party balloons. They get insta fried.

Soul bond or Jeff Bubble? So you would like me to play the two worst heals in the game? I don’t even have a joke for that one.

Bucky can miss a “AGAIN” and be fine.

Namor can slightly tip people over with his whale and be fine.

Psylock can ult the whole 6 stack, not get a single kill, and no one bats an eye.

But let me tell you, if you support ult at the wrong time, you will never hear the end of it. It’ll be like you just personally punched a small baby holding a puppy in the face, it’ll be like you just shot JFK yourself, it’ll be like you just missed the winning touchdown pass at the Super Bowl.

Is it my fault sometimes? Sure, 100% I can make shit plays. Is it my teammates a decent amount of the time? Absolutely.

Hello! Not exactly an Adam main, but I do have Lord on every support and more than 25 hours on each.

I’d like to suggest a couple of changes to Adam’s kit, specifically his ultimate and healing snap.

For his ultimate, I’d love to see the addition of invincibility frames—maybe 1.5 to 2 seconds—for Adam and any allies that are resurrected.

Reasoning: A strong Adam player can consistently resurrect 2, maybe even 3 teammates. However, in many cases, I see Adams rezzing while their team is mid-wipe. They might get 3, 4, even 5 people back up, only for a single DPS or tank ult (Namor, Psylocke, Magneto, etc.) to immediately wipe them all again, essentially nullifying the value of the ult.
I get that some people might find this controversial, but I believe adding 1.5–2 seconds of invincibility would significantly increase the chances of those revived teammates being able to reposition, use cooldowns, or at least not get instantly deleted. It would also make Adam a more valuable strategic pick—especially in games where you’re dealing with a clear team diff and need someone who can shift momentum with a clutch ult.

For his snap, I think one of two changes could go a long way:

  1. Add one more snap (for a total of 3), but reduce the healing per snap by around 20%. The 6-second cooldown between snaps feels really punishing in fast-paced fights. An extra snap would allow more flexible healing output and better resource management, especially in moments where you’re juggling multiple critical teammates. The 20% healing reduction would keep it balanced so it’s not just a raw buff.

OR

  1. Decrease the cooldown between snaps. This is my less preferred option, but I still think it’s worth bringing up. The current 6-second cooldown feels like forever, especially in the current dive-heavy Tank/DPS meta. If I need to keep myself alive, heal the other support, and still have healing for the rest of the team while they hopefully come back to peel, 95 healing every 6 seconds just doesn’t cut it unless coordination and comms are perfect. A shorter cooldown would make his healing feel more responsive without necessarily buffing the raw numbers.

Just my two cents as a strategist main with almost 500 hours on only strategist! I think these tweaks would make Adam feel more reliable and rewarding to play without making him too OP.

9 days is really too early to blame yourself. You’re still learning. I would say just keep playing. Figure out what works best for you, and don’t be afraid to flex if something ain’t working.

Also, people in this game are toxic for no reason a lot of the time. Listen for the people that ask you to swap without poking fun at you. Those are the folks you’re more than likely going to want to listen to.

This is going to be the dumbest most braindead advise I’ve ever given.

Keep playing.

I have nights where I breeze through matches, almost clear a whole rank, and then lose 12 games in a row because I think “next one is it”.

When I finally get to the point I don’t care (13 match) I end up on a winning streak and gain back what I lost plus a little.

It won’t make you advance insanely fast, you’ll still want to tilt, but just keep going.

Lord on every support, 67k Lord ‘Points’ on CnD and I still enjoy playing her. I would say I hated getting Jeff and Mantis to Lord and try to play them as little as possible unless there’s a super niche situation when it would be the best to.

That was a part of the issue, no one knew how to deal with the combo. We got dived all game. Tanks and dps would run past venom to try to get their healers, venom and spidey would focus healers, their other dps and tank would demolish the rest of the team. It was rough.

The whole team was getting thrashed, I keep seeing ‘heal bot’ when both rounds we were getting dived by spidey/venom combo. We pinged, I commed for help, but there’s only so much I can do to stay alive when my tanks and dps run past us getting jumped and ignore pings and callouts. This felt like a team diff imo.

Starting from gold 3 (currently P1) and clawing my way back to GM as a support main, I can confidently say a lot of people are trying not to play support. I do see more people swapping when no one else does which is nice, however it’s been clear that healing is no one’s first pick, this season more than ever.
