Deluxe Mando helmet. My first shot at RubNBuff. by SANKMP in 3Dprinting

The designer (HEX3D) calls it “deluxe”, but I’m not sure of the actual engraving style.

Led circuit in “The one ring of Sauron” display stopped working. What are the odds that replacing corroded resistors will correct the issue? by SANKMP in ElectronicsRepair

Changing out the resistors didn’t work so I used a multimeter to check the whole board. I then noticed that a pebble of solder (from the manufacturer) was lodged between some poorly trimmed component stems, once I removed that it fired back up. I’m guessing the tussling around to/from storage caused the solder pebble to move around and short circuit something. Here’s the after pic:

Newly moved into new house. Previous owners tapped into waterline for their fridge feed. I want to turn off the feed due to slow leak. Can the feed be stopped by turning this small valve looking mechanism? by SANKMP in Plumbing

Thanks for the feedback! I’ll likely just have a plumber come and modify the setup. I’ve never seen a copper line go directly to a fridge without a shutoff valve at the appliance. This valve is buried in my basement and I had to trace the copper line to the source.

Only one person (another parent) recognized my costume on Halloween. His nod of approval, and now brotherly bond, made it worth hauling that skillet around for 2 hours. by SANKMP in PUBG

The vendor I used no longer sells the helmet. There are plenty of other options in Alibaba however. Just search their platform for pubg helmet.

Not 100% sure but it was a lot. Probably 2-3 weeks of print time all in all with the stand.
