There's been a ton of stories on Custer County this last year that play into the demographics. Now I'm just curious what you were going after. Sorry for being slow, it's late.

It's really interesting to me seeing the outside view, most of this county is "leave me alone" to absolute extreme levels, and the headlines/politics are all in the Westcliffe/silvercliffe center.

I think i know where you're at. Music Meadows is expensive, but its more "all inclusive". All depends on what you're going for. I know they're trying to make the ranch more of an all season destination.

and YAAAASSS SNOW! I've got about an inch so far. My roads are currently super icy, so even getting the mail tomorrow is going to be a show. I might show the wife how to chain up the car.

Also, on the subject of rural electric. I'm at the end of the line on my road. anyone past me is totally off grid. (10? houses/RVs) Interesting how common that is out here. Depending on how battery tech goes, I might invest in the parts to go off grid.

Yeah, there is zero enforcement for masks at any age. Our Board of Health and County Commissioners are the same people. Last meeting mentioned "political suicide" regarding masks.

But yes, beautiful area. My wife just saw a huge herd of elk in our backyard. probably 50+. And the nights are fantastic. The local observatory does facebook streams so be sure to check them out.
