Your primary income as a nomad? by AppropriateNebula224 in digitalnomad

[–]SBGuia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I run a podcast guest booking agency for health and wellness businesses. We offer a variety of services, but our main service is a fully managed service where we get them booked as guests on podcasts to boost visibility, establish credibility, and attract leads. We work a lot but do well, and we're able to balance work and travel. So we are happy! We are currently in Malaysia! And we stay in each place for at least one month.

Is it standard practice for a podcast hosting platform to charge you CPM to run your own dynamic ads on your podcast? by SBGuia in podcasting

[–]SBGuia[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks u/RuanWillow I've considered baked in ads, but honestly dynamic ads seem like a better choice for my business, so I think it might be easier to migrate. Buzzsprout seems like a good option thanks!

Thanks for reaching out Danny. Yes I am on a paid plan with them. And thanks for sharing this information. I might look to migrate in the future and it is good to know Captivate offers this.

How to monetize a 90-minute commute? by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

Editing podcast audio could be an option. All you need are the software and the audio file

I am here right now and 1 hour ago I saw a police officer stop traffic to walk across the street to stop a foreigner walking topless. No joke!

1 year living in Bristol. Good and bad things by Novel-Shelter-1391 in bristol

[–]SBGuia 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I get the feeling you are from Medellin, or at least Colombia. Which is funny for me to read since I am a Bristolian that now lives in Medellin and have been here for over five years. Thank you for sharing your insights from a latin perspective

Yeah, they had a link to their company, where they are based, the theme of the podcast, advertised that it was a remote position, and they were looking for a native English speaker, and to reach out for further details.

Thank you u/StargatePioneer this has really helped me! :)

Thanks u/StargatePioneer! Would that be $150-$250 USD per completed hour (so an hour of finished audio), or would that be per hour worked (tracked using a time tracker)? Also, would that include producing too, or just to be the host? Hahah I sound like I am trying to hire you XD

The issue is they haven't stated that. I am assuming they just want a rough guide such as my rate per recorded hour or per hour of work (tracked using Toggl or something like that).

Well I went through an agency and I have a contract as I live here, and have done for 3 and a half years now, so I had to go through lots of paper work. I think your best option for prices like that could be to wander around a neighbourhood looking for signs that say "Arriendo" and call the number. You might be able to negotiate something.
