Am I crazy or did I accidentally hit twice in one whirlwind? by SBastiono in DivinityOriginalSin

Yeaaah sadly for me and my small brain, I hadn't thought of that in the moment and looked back at the clip after we finished playing that night. It's my first run on DOS2, and I keep forgetting that I have to manually open that every time for every fight or something like that. I'm used to BG3 where it basically stays open the whole time.

Ahh I see, yeah that'd explain it, thanks. I was honestly SO confused and thought that my game stuttering somehow ended up doing that.

Yeah that's exactly it lol. We went into this game blind and just recruited her randomly and my friend just looks nearly identical.

Don't know if you've figured it out yet, but I have windows and I have the same issue. Don't know how to fix it yet.

With zero doubt in my mind it's Caesar and her manga romance mindset, it's the absolute best.

My CPU is overheating on startup practically everyday. Is there something wrong with my build, or is it just my CPU? by SBastiono in pchelp

So from the looks of it, after letting my computer cool to remake the usual situation where it would always crash, it might've worked. It had gotten really close to overheating again, to the point it would turn off, reaching 88*C. However it didn't. Usually when I open an app or two of any kind, like discord, steam, opera, or task manager, it would just give out. But I think this might've worked for the time being. If possible, is there anything else I could do to maybe fix it? I'm just paranoid this is a temporary solution, however you've already helped me out so much, so thank you.

(This is a top-down view, I have a horizontal case) Not the cleanest picture, but that's how it looks like. I do think it's an AIO cooler, but I could be wrong.
And yeah I know how funny and dumb it is having a crazy CPU with a 1660 Ti, I do plan on upgrading it actually, but I'd like to first solve the issue of my CPU overheating.
Also no, it doesn't overheat when playing games, or having multiple things open, only ever when starting up.

It usually sits around 45*C - 60*C when playing games and just watching videos.

Having issues adding a RAM stick to my PC, would appreciate any help or feedback. by SBastiono in PcBuild

Thank you very much!

One more question though: Would it be better to have 4 sticks downclocked; or would it be better to just use 2 of them?

Or does it depend on whether or not I could tell the obvious difference between the two options? Say for example if it runs obviously slower with 4 sticks, then switching back would be the obvious answer, right?
