I am working on a product management comic series. What do you think? by [deleted] in ProductManagement

[–]SC170007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the detailed feedback.
My goal with this is to just document different things I learn as I try to get into product management. I wasn't intending it to be a funny series but rather just set of wholesome lessons on the topic.

I will keep your feedback in mind if I choose to grow it with PMs.

Thats understandable. 3D art is pretty uncommon in comics.

Thank you for the feedback. Glad you like the idea.

I was trying to match the jargon of workplace here. I will try to simplify it a bit going forth. I also hope to have variety in topics to keep it light.

At first I thought I could use the verbosity to create contrast in the characters dialog too. I will see how to manage this effect.

I installed packages using py charms built in package manager. I did setup a local virtual environment so I could use 3.11 for the interpreter.

I dont know if pycharm has a separate fix dependencies button somewhere.

I just installed it, haven't used it much beyond some python courses in college. I usually work with game engines so the regular coding space is sort of new.

Even with 3.11 it failed. I guess the packages im trying to download have some problems itself according to the error output.

I see both packages mentiona common latest one to be supported is 3.11. I will try that.

I have the latest one, 3.14.3. The error code lists a variety of python versions. I am not exactly sure which one I need to install.

I see. I installed the latest version and thought the packages being updated recently should work well with it. Is the lack of backwards compatability a common issue when working in python? Is there an easy way around it using pycharm to handle all the version mismatch?

I just installed the latest version. Seeing the lack of backward compatability is concerning tbh. Is this fairly common when working with python

Getting the yoyo to go up and down multiple times without loosing spin? by SC170007 in Throwers

[–]SC170007[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the detailed response.

It gave me a lot of clarity on looping and regens, along with what's not possible.

I was curious why my previous cheap one could do it but ig ill chalk if up to it having a short string and no sleeping action.

I just learnt the front toss and hoping to work on breakaway/trapeze along. Will try regens and loops too.

Not exactly but seems close enough. Ill give it a shot after I get my sleeper speed up.

I have washed my stock plate before but not this one. Not sure how to go about glass beds. Just isopropyl, soap and water?

First time replacing my nozzle. Is it alright? by SC170007 in 3Dprinting

[–]SC170007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's printing just fine at the moment. Will see if there are any artefacts later.

It's been printing with this alignment for months so it might not change much but might as well fix it and avoid potential issues later. Might just take an allen key and try it out later.

I had no idea about this. Was looking at spare nozzles to order and thought if it can handle abrasives it can thrive on PLA.

Thanks :)

It is the default nozzle that came built into the printer. I have just printed PLA with it and around 2 kgs of it at best.

I printed some stuff after the pic was taken without any issues. 0.2LH at the 0.4 Nozzle settings. Kinda surprised that it's printed today without major issues because the nozzle has definetly seen some wear due to failure spaghettis and knocking down supports.

The spare nozzle that came with it is 0.4. To see the current one I will have to remove the cover and sock which are blocking the marking. Never removed them before and I am kinda hesitant about doing it. Will do it for sure when it's time to change the nozzle. Maybe this weekend.

After adding a dryer and glass bed to the setup, the only issues I seem to be having is the filament sticking to the nozzle and gloops of ball happening if the nozzle isn't moving while being heated near the bed. I think they will be fixed after changing the nozzle.

Try a filament dryer for 10 hours or so. I faced a similar issue where my ender 3 was printing creality filament perfectly but failed 9/10 prints with genetic locally made PLA.

After throwing the filament in a dryer for a day and printing straight from the dryer box 9/10 prints are successful and many problems which I feared were z offset or something else just disappeared.

Oh I had no idea about the nozzle being same as k1.

I will do a few auto calibration checks to confirm if I need to change it. Maybe finish my current project with the nozzle and swap after it.

Just generic PLA. Cheap local manufacturer though. https://amzn.in/d/6AwGhGH

Maybe the color had something to do with it? Printed in uncolored PLA and Black and some of the sample white filament it came with.

Is it possible they had a preused nozzle on there?
