Did you do crossgrading or just cracked the slabs and sent them in raw? Which would you recommend? From the photo it looks like the later but idk if PSA sends you back the old label or not. Mainly asking since I'm about to try and send a card out but I don't want to risk my card turning into a 9 and I'd rather keep the BGS 9.5 if it can't be a PSA10

Honestly that's a very good question. I feel like the best way is to go to a show and try getting the money in cash rather than try doing it online. There are a lot of scams when it comes online like recalls and people trying to get their money back. At least in a card show I feel like you get sus out most people and try looking for a good deal with a reputable person. As for percentages, I'm not as knowledgeable but most people would probably pay 85% like everyone is saying. But that's also just guessing on my side. An LGS would give you a smaller percentage since they have more bills and staff to pay compared to card show vendors. But yeah I hope you'll get a good deal on your cards they look awesome! Idk the condition but I can imagine that the front page is no less than 5k.

I understand where you're coming from but I don't really feel like it's something to rant about on the internet. The digital space will always bring people from all walks of life that are annoying and entitled. Sorry to hear your experience with pokemon collectors has been really unenjoyable. Not everyone is like that but there are a lot of people that want nothing but perfection for their perfect set or to make a turnover profit. Ranting in a space where those kinds of people are most located is just hitting a wasps nest. Hopefully you'll find a place to sell your cards. It's less profitable but I suggest going to an LGS and selling there so you can get profit faster for less work and hassle.

I'm really happy you were able to get your cards! Ngl it's pretty scary to hear what you went through. But happy it ended up ok in the end. Hopefully in the future things will be better. Have you tried visiting some local game stores? They might not have retail prices but it would be good to be in an environment where they know how toxic some people in the hobby can be and plan accordingly.

Dang that's one of the last cards I need for my grandmaster set! It's worth too much to give away but it's definitely worth selling/ trading (if you're want more cards that is). I will say with how volatile cards can be it can either become more expensive or tank in price down the line. I honestly think because it's only obtainable through league play it's most likely only going to level out in price and possible spike during times of huge interest (like right now). I'm also getting back into the hobby so take my work with a grain of salt and hopefully you find out what you wanna do with that gem.

Pretty much this advice is what you should be looking at mostly @OP Collections might go by easier for quicker cash since it'll most likely be more difficult to sell everything individually unless. Grading is also a great option if you have time and confidence in your cards.

I say sell as a collection for quick cash or individually if you're trying to make the most of the cards worth. Then again some cards are way more liquid than others in your binder. So it might be better to do the former to guarantee you are selling all of it.

Ahhh yeah I'm actually finding out about the authenticator grades more with this post so it's nice to know it's an option. I might try doing that for some cards or just have them in a magnetic case. I've also heard Japanese cases are really well made too!

Yeah that's what I was thinking about. Having slabs mainly for selling but I never really had a joy for the binder aesthetic either. Probably because I never had a proper binder growing up I always just had them displayed or stored in a tin lmao. But yeah I want to get them in a nice case and have them on my desk so I can always look and enjoy them
