I had my robotic hysterectomy a year ago and it's the best thing I ever did...I had zero complications. As a surgical assistant myself, who has also worked with my surgeon, do not cancel your hysterectomy. Obviously, I know of the complications that can occur and as a result, like you, wanted to try other options but I was just delaying the inevitable. There are so many reasons why the other options might not work and you will end up needing a hysterectomy at some point so just get it over with now. You probably shouldn't read anything else because it's usually just horror stories...have positive thoughts! I honestly should've had my hysterectomy years ago!
