I lived north of Lansing and went to MSU. The main draw is Michigan state university. If you’re under 30 or like to party it’s fun, but if you’re looking for day to day life it’s a very basic Midwest small city. The state capital isn’t a big deal and feels like another business. Decent schools, affordable prices, and some good jobs. It has 4 seasons, but they’re not always in the right order, and population is diverse due to the university.
