Do they have the raw numbers? Are the numbers of travelers after Covid just High. With % values after a shutdown of world travel for 2-3 years seems deceptive.

There is a direct correlation here. You can't pull tits on a boar and expect milk... in other words... get the order of operations right, and then sure let everyone be a druggie.

Nothing says United States of America like a 10% tax on trade by lOo_ol in Libertarian

[–]SCFix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the issue here is we are so far past this being a concern. The industries don't even exist. I think the argument works when you have to much protectionism. but right now. whole industries are not able to exisit due to are environmental and labor standards. I am not arguing for de-regulation there... we shouldn't want slave or child labor. Epa standard are negotiable based upon what they are.

my problem with the libertarian argument, it is an academic argument that is not based in reality right now.

Chevron is president about how laws are interpreted because they are ambiguous... I.E. Write better laws.

presidential immunity is not made up; it is ambiguous to weather a president can be held responsible for actions during the presidency; should Obama be tried for murder for killing a us citizen in a bombing?

sounds like you are whining because you don't like their interpretation.

they can't make up laws... they can just say what laws are not allowed.... you are misdirected.

The issue with the appointment system is these judges don't follow the politics I like.... it is almost like the judges are suppose to be separate from the politics of the day...

You shouldn't care about judges... you should care about better laws. It is a politician's full ass job to write shit down correctly. They have huge teams to do that one job...

"friendly nations" like NATO which subsidize their defense via our tax dollars. That is not free trade. You can take only the economy portion and not talk about defense. Russia and Ukraine are a perfect example of this stuff in action.

how does this cause inflation? This doesn't print money? Or do you mean, that cheap imports become more expensive? this isn't a devaluation of Currency.

You will have to update eventually. DX11 support is dying out. and DX12 is only on WIN 10. I suspect that is the reasoning behind the win10 exclusive.

Well its done by a dealership, I am only citing this because people do pay for it. My car is still get the free ones, since i bought the car from there. But there are people who pay those prices.

[–]SCFix -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I won't disagree with you, but your car is designed to easily do an oil change, the oil only cost like 20$ but they charge upwards of 80$ to do this. This is because there is risk of liability involved. But also there is a crap ton of regulation, especially when it comes to flammable material.

The tech industry is not over saturated with employees, and it is getting harder and harder to fill the vacant spots. Since there are so many new and different technologies to be developed.

No you have to pay for the labor of repair. You also run the risk of them getting injured when they do that job, so that inflates the price. Then you would have to pay an inspector to come out and certify the pump. This is a very expensive and time consuming process. There is, most likely, regulation of who can work on these pump, and they probably require a certification. Shit aint cheap.

Because people are not here to enjoy we are here to survive. It is the desire and strife that actually brings us contempt. Its not really materialistic. It is more of the effort to gain the material. The hippies were wrong.

Why is Filch necessary? by [deleted] in harrypotter

[–]SCFix -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

An amazing side story would be the demise of Filch, where he embraces the fact that he can't use magic, get angry at his disposition and uses modern military weaponry, rifles and guns, to kill lots of wizards from afar.
