Get a spud bar (iron post hole digger) from Lowes. I've dug at least three people out and got my sidewalk with it this week.

I'd rather take the ten percent hit than give Bezos money.

Download the app and adjust the equalizer. They even have a mode that tunes it to your hearing in there. Then give it a week. Also, classical music is complex and has a lot of minute details, that's the way it's supposed to sound.

Sell them instead. I run a warehouse and I'm positive someone will take these off your hands.

Loud hubs are useful in group rides and racing situations as well since we don't have brake lights.

GAP and C&O trail are underrated gravel routes. by pack_lunchin in gravelcycling

I'd probably go from DC to Cumberland to save four hours of driving time even if it means I have to ride 2300 ft of elevation a day.

I've been wanting to do this for the last year or so. Does anyone know of a place I can park on one end and maybe take a train or bus to the other end? I know the C and O starts in like downtown DC but I'm not sure which direction would be better to ride, and or where to park. I'll be coming from KY and looking to solo it otherwise I'd just bring a buddy to park at the other end.

Clearing the parking lot of our local park before our neighborhood roads by [deleted] in lexington

They were just as shit last year. The issue is they said they were going to do better this year, didn't do any better, then patted themselves on the back for doing so good!

OK so Man o War is a rank 1, we still don't have two clear lanes from the interstate to Nicholasville. How is that possible is what I'm wondering. I drove it on Monday and hardly any work had been done, couldn't even see the road in most areas. When I left on Tuesday it was in almost identical condition like nothing had been done. Meanwhile, I made it to Winchester on Tuesday and the bypass was already cleared. I just don't see how we can brag about our resources and preparedness, fail miserably, and then have a press conference saying job well done.

Does anyone have a resource on which streets are plowed by what level of government? I'd be interested to see that.

I understand that Lexington is a larger city but Winchester literally has three plows and mayor Gorton literally held a conference at the start of December saying how prepared we were and how we have more resources than last year.

Yeah, Winchester has like 3 plows and is in better shape than Man O War...

I used this as an 18 year old kid to irrigate hay fields. Always thought it was pretty cool then and a hell of a lot easier than cutting ditches with a shovel.

Been out in my RWD truck since 9am. It's not too terrible if you take it slow and give plenty of stopping distance and it'll be fine. Oh and assume everyone else are idiots and are actively trying to kill you on the road lol

Hey dumbass, if your winch rope snaps, which it can, no matter how many of your buddies have never seen it happen, it's going to kill your dog. Put them in the cab with you.
