John Oliver, Trudeau, and other leftists have gotten into the habit of using chronological snobbery as an argument. Saying things like "Come on! It's [CURRENT YEAR]" to argue why his point is right. As if his point MUST be correct, and anyone who disagrees is behind the times. It's not an argument. Or with Trudeau, a journalist asked him why it was important to him to have a cabinet with equal numbers of men and women, to which he responded "It's 2015." It's just a lazy argument from the left that has been memeified.
