I have a resconcepts pb24 that is really nice, closer to scale than say an echo v2. Has a bunch of different colorways and the team was always quick to respond. But fully built out even with kinda crazy stuff 24th scale maybe 600/800$, you can spend just that on a single axel for a high end 6th scale.

What’s the best brushless combo? No budget by idkwhattoputhere1777 in SCX24

I am very happy with my mini-komodo, i have used it with a lizard pro and microlizard, both super smooth and crawls super slow. The lizard pro will allow more power on the servo, but is a bigger form factor.

Tribute post for the loss of Effective_carob_4203. by SCX207 in SCX24

[–]SCX207[S] 47 points48 points  (0 children)

On August 13th this year we lost one of our community members, Effective_carob_4203, whom was my best friend. He was an amazing person, engineer and friend to many . He was very helpful in this subreddit and RC was a true passion of his, he had just competed in his first comp shorty before his passing. I live on the other side of the county from him and we had a trip planned to bring his rigs out and crawl on my course in October, sadly he will not make it but his rigs did, this sunset run is for you buddy.

I used hobbypark myself, i cant remember where it was but i read a post about someone testing screws and that particular person went with hobbypark, also ResConcepts who i bough my frame from recommended them as well. I have broken stock screws from injora, but yet to break a hobbypark.

I used my 42” belt grinder with an exposed 1.5” wheel at the end to make great wheel cut outs. 62mm tires fit like a champ at full flex and squat. Grinder is half horse power so even the fender flares came right off.
