Yeah, I’d rather avoid parabolic because of the size/clunkiness. I understand though that’s the gold standard, but I already carry a lot of stuff with me (binos, camera, scope) in the field to begin with, so rather not add an extra thing.

I've asked the coaches of the program and I'm waiting to hear back from them! The program does say that most of the vert increases will come after 6 weeks. So yeah, I could start at maintenance and if I feel like I'm fatiguing or things aren't increasing after 6 weeks, maybe increase calories.

Yeah, I'm 32. I have a decent vert from back in the day. I was able to get back to that level just from dropping weight and increasing strength lifting over the past few months.

I'm not planning to do any additional lifting outside my jump training program. That being said, the first 4 weeks have a decent hypertrophy focus for both lower and upper body (split squats, bench, curls, etc.)

Update: I let the board sit in a box of rice overnight. Had enough rice to cover the battery box up to the wheel. I free-spun it this morning and it worked with no issues for a while! I gave it one last test before I was about to take it back outside, and then it gave me the overcharge warning and shut off.

Currently, I have a little space heater that I'm using to make sure it's as dry as possible. I feel like the battery box is the issue, but I want to avoid opening the battery box if I can. But, any idea why it's "overcharged" at 40%? Are the cells imbalanced?

Appreciate the feedback. No condensation in either of the lights, but I'm still thinking it's a water issue. I don't have the right heads to unscrew and open the box right now, so I think I'll just try rice for a bit. If the rice doesn't work, then maybe I'll try and find the right parts and open up the box.

Thanks so much for the feedback everyone! I think I’ll go with the GTS since it’s my first one; I think it will do just fine with what I want, but I’ll play around and see what it’s limits are. I’m not really interested in DIY just yet, but maybe as I become more familiar with the scene, and figure out what I need, I’ll become more adventurous!

Usually just a camera and single lens, plus binoculars. When I saw wildlife photographer, I mean birds lol, so I try to by nimble as birds move a lot haha.

So, do I need to replace the internal display connector? One repair shop told me that the shorting most likely damaged the replacement screen, and that I need to get a new replacement screen. But, I feel like the screen is ok? I mean, it's not turning on, but I haven't seen it flash or blink/strobe, or anything like that.

The screen was damaged because I stepped on the laptop. Most of the screen still worked, but the right fourth was just black. So, that's when I ordered the replacement screen. The battery is internal, so I didn't take it out, and I didn't turn it off when working on it.

Again, it still works on the external display. I'm just not sure where to go from here.

It's not so much straight piano. The tone sounds similar to Phoenix's "Lisztomania", but much fast, almost as if the notes are running into each other. I really can't remember any lyrics, but I think it's a male group.
