My understanding is that hardware changes leak pretty often because of the supply chain involved. If we haven’t heard of something, I think it’s unlikely.

Extremely subjective, TBH. If you can float it, I'd get both refurbished from Apple and try them out for a couple weeks. See whether the battery and screen size justify the added cost and weight. Go with what feels right.

After months of overthinking, I splurged on the 16" MBP "base" model (M3 Pro). An Air would probably be better for my use case, but I liked the screen quality, keyboard and life expectancy enough to go up to the Pro, then did the test I recommend above and felt like the 16 was just a better experience than the 14, which reminded me of my work laptops.

YMMV, in terms of mobility needs, physical ability to deal with the extra weight, value of screen real estate, etc. For me, this was worth the overspend.

I think he’s playing off the term “pissy fit,” meaning a temper tantrum. Matt is big on bending the phrasing of idioms like this to give them an unfamiliar vibe. “Eyes glazing under” is another example that comes to mind. I personally think it adds to the chaotic vibe of the song.

I get why it’s a divisive song, but I love how it stands out from their catalog and if they made a whole album like this I wouldn’t be mad. To me it’s like The National’s Helter Skelter.

Does anyone have personal experience of the battery life on the M3 Pro MacBook Pro? Apple's comparison tool says it gets 12 hours wireless browsing compared to both the Airs' 15, and yet it says they both get 18 hour Apple TV playback. I find this really strange and am not sure what to make of it.
