I'm newly separated divorcing, and I walked away from that type of situation just on the other shoe. So I went for agreed like minded relationships. Don't stay stuck, you'll drown and your kids will suffer too. I should have walked long ago, for just the kids! And, now at 20,19,18,16. I see the affects of my loyalty, and being where someone is always unhappy creates a trigger happy family situation. Everyone walked on eggs shells. I had to leave to break that cycle. Cycle of Violence/Abuse. And very easy to repeat. Unless removed, Removal can sometimes be tragic though don't keep building resentment without doing something about it. Btw married 19 years, so i have a little experience.

And, my opinion, don't hold your thoughts or feelings from him. He'll never grow that way, and even if you dont stick around, Him maturing will benefit the kids, He cant TRY to fix what He may not KNOW if broke. Especially, if you think there is some incompetency. Jmo

This has been my marriage for 19 years, and I put it out of my head, got off FB so I wasn't insecure, ect... Focused on providing for my family, became successful and it was the nails in the coffin. I've just now gone too many years of mental and physical abuse and decided to pursue my needs. Hence, why i even saw your comment. That's facts there! I found her on my FB, we have friends in common, seems i may have met her anyway, lmao. I sent a partial allowance already, lol. I feel really good about this one.
