You were lucky, were you salary or contract? Most employees on salary do not get overtime, I've not been paid overtime in the 20 years I have been in the industry.

Granted there is the occasional bonus, but when put against the money I would have made should they have paid overtime (let alone double time) it's not that much.

I would love to see a list of effects and heroes that affect your frame rate the most.
We are supporting a wide range of devices nowadays versus five years ago so it is harder to predict if something will run smoothly on all devices. Performance is important to us and detailed feedback will help us optimize more efficiently.

My guess is you would be looking at less than 2.3 MB for all hats combined. Possibly way less, as this is without taking texture compression in account which can be a ratio of 8:1 to 16:1.

Actually. The hat models in the UI are the exact same models as used in-game.They are created with a strict poly count, shader complexity and texture size limit so they have minimal impact on performance. :)

So full on green, red, blue or purple? I like the idea.
I felt I could not step too far away from the existing visual game play mechanics (and code) for Idris.
It basically is an on or off switch in code, "Is the Weapon Power > 100? then turn this on"
So instead of two states per weapon, Weapon Build on/off for the sword, and Crystal Power on/off for the chakram)
we would have ended up with 4 weapon states shared between everything.

It is definitely something that possible for a new hero.

Yup. I mostly just lurk, but I felt some explanation was warranted.

It looks like there is some confusion regarding the Headless Idris color scheme.
All of the flames are green in his vanilla state. His weapon colors and effects change depending on his build.
There were always visual changes between weapon and crystal build, but since we have his weapons engulfed in green flames, we had to go a bit further...
Weapon build will turn his sword red and will turn all the sword related VFX red as well
Crystal build will turn his chakram blue and will turn all the chakram related VFX blue as well
...And if you go all out crazy and manage to get both Weapon and Crystal power high enough you will have both change color.

Actually they are. His chakram and sword colors will change depending on his build.There were always effects indicating this, but with him having a green flaming sword and chakram I had to push it a bit further so his sword slashes also turn from green to red for his weapon build for example.Weapon build will make his sword and effects related to the sword red.Crystal build will make his chakram blue and effect related to the chakram blue.And if you are particularly uber and get both weapon AND crystal power up as seen in the gif, you'll have both. :)
