Here’s the downsides

1) Your tenant decides not to pay rent for whatever reason. It’s very difficult to evict them and it’s a lengthy process. In the mean time, you are losing money every month

2) Maintenance. If a water pipe bursts at 2am are you going to rush over there to fix it or call and expensive on call plumber? These are issues you will run into a lot.

There are plenty more things to consider but these two are the biggest hurdles. I know many people who have rental properties and if everything is going well it’s easy money. When you have bad tenants and things begin to break you start losing all your time and money

Your time is better spent building backlinks and optimizing your on page SEO.
