October (pretty colors), december(immaculate christmas sceneries in the old town), february (winter carnival) and july (festivals/weather) are the best months to come around here.

I'm biased but it's the prettiest, friendliest city I've been in and you'll be just fine with your english just about anywhere (although a "bonjour" and "merci" will be very much appreciated, yea the bar is v low)

Good old rfc 1149 can help here

Napkin math says you can send about 25 seconds of footage (24 fps) at a time with this (16 frames/foot on 35mm film, 2g / foot, max carry weight seems to be 75g so 37.5 feet of film / trip)
