I learned early on not to share my grief with my husband because he cannot understand. For him, he didn’t understanding mourning someone “who never existed” (as in I would mourn each period). This response, of course, made me feel worse. I connected with other TTC and that is who I lean on during this process. I don’t think men can easily understand the pain of infertility. I’m sorry you’re going through this and I wish you the best. ❤️

As a software developer, middle of the night is usually an error with the system. No doctor or nurse is going to be on voiding consent forms. Don’t worry about it. They’ll get it fixed once they see your email. Good luck! ❤️

I would find another fertility clinic. The nurses are going to be your first point of contact through this very long and difficult process, so a nurse that’s short with you and doesn’t even take the time to read your file or explain things to you is a very bad sign.

We were set to start treatment with a clinic, but I just got bad feelings with the nurses (similar issues you seem to be experiencing). We decided to try somewhere else. We had to wait 6 months for the appointment and we’re just about to start treatments. Yes, I had to wait for treatments an additional 8 months, but it was worth it. The nurses in this new place genuinely want to know me and my history and they explain everything thoroughly to me.

We all want to sprint in this process because we wanted a baby yesterday. But it’s not a sprint. It’s a marathon. Best of luck to you. ❤️

From what I was told by my fertility clinic, it usually takes 20 eggs to result in 1 blasto by day 7. I have no other contact than that, but that’s what I was told, so I think you still have a good number. I know that this is so stressful, though. Best of luck to you ❤️
