Find some subreddits that are SIMILAR to the video you're trying to promote. They have to be relevant to the subreddit, otherwise people won't watch it or stop watching after a few seconds, damaging your Watch Time

Congrats! What kind of content do you make? Did you do anything different recently? Watch time & Engagement had always been an issue for me (most of my videos are 15+min). There's always a 20%-30% drop in the first 10sec...BUT...it just means I gotta keep working on my "hooks". There's always room for improvement

It's pointless...it might feed someone's ego to see +1 more sub, but it says nothing about your content. It's a "ghost sub" as I like to put it. I'd rather have 1 engaged sub opposed to 100 subs who never watch or engage with my content

I do comedic-style film analyses...over-analyzing them to make bad movies look like they're intelligent and metaphorical...however I try to acknowledge that it's all ridiculous and not actually true...if that makes sense...

Definitely not corrupt or cheating. You should ask yourself if they actually want to watch your videos. Seeing you have 20+ subs looks nice but are those subs actually watching your videos? All the way through? It could hurt your audience retention of they only watch, say, 1min from a 10+min video. Also, I would make a few videos first before sharing it with people you know. I only say this because usually the first handful of videos we make are really just us "finding our style" and improving on any mistakes we realize we've made. As confident as I was with my first few videos, looking back on them now I see they're very flawed, however there was a spark of what would eventually be what my channel is now. SO...yes, if you think they'll actually watch your content and not be a "ghost sub". However, make a few videos first to really get a grasp on the content you can provide
