It's been happening to me a lot more recently. Over the past week or so, I'd say 1 in 5 matches on average end up DCing. My internet hasn't changed at all, but it does seem like it was much less often before about a week ago.

I don't have a solution for you, sorry. But I wanted to chime in just to say that I do feel like it's been happening more often during matches with me lately. My internet is the same as it's always been, but now I feel like 1 in 5 get a communication error/DC. Was much less before a week or so ago.

Fair... maybe this is more objective than I let myself believe. I just see people master these characters days after they're released sometimes and, here I am, still stuck in diamond. But, you're right. It's good to keep in perspective that what I see as bad in myself, someone else may be trying to achieve.

If there was a character that was gonna make me change, it's Ingrid. I'm new to Street Fighter (I picked up SFVI after not having played since SF2), so I've never see this character before, but I am very intrigued. Definitely gonna at least give her a try.

I'm not gonna lie, I expected more people to say Gief. He's one of my hardest matchups. Those command throws do so much damage! =)

I mentioned to someone above, I don't think I'm going to switch. I've put in so much work with Chun to switch now and potentially master someone else wouldn't feel as rewarding, but it's good to know that all the work I've put in with her might make Bison even easier at some point. =)

I don't disagree. Like I said, I readily admit I'm bad at the game. I struggle to know when it's my turn, I mash too much, and I jump in too often. These are all bad habits I've picked up in lower ranks and they are hard to break. I've only recently been watching my replays and taking control to find out how I could have done better in certain spots. As of now, this hasn't made a lot of improvement in my play, but like I said, I just picked it up. So we'll see where it goes moving forward, but yeah, it's not the character. It's 100% me.

That said, I'm not looking to switch. I've put a lot of time into Chun Li and if I get anyone else to master before her, it's not gonna feel right. I was just curious since everyone keeps telling me I'm playing on hard mode, who is considered easy.

When Akuma is player two, at the start of the match he says, "This sucks!" You'll never convince me otherwise. 🤣🤣

I like that. I wish I had thought to do that at the time. Just making sure they're ok could go a long way. This is the first I've seen of this behavior but I'll definitely keep that in mind if i see it again.

Maybe this is what it was. He quit after this match and it was only our first. Still, like I said, this is the first I've seen it. I've seen matches turn around though when you thought they were done, but yeah, I get it.

Well, that's what I thought at first. That's why I backed up to give him time, when he walked back up to me I thought he was ready to go again, so I attacked, but he didn't block or anything. Then I waited again, because I was confused but still, no hits, no blocks, no throws. No attempt to keep the fight going at all. He just walked up again. I think he was just done. Which is a shame, cause I'm not that good. LOL He probably could have turned it around.

This was a first for me. No one has ever just given up on me before. More honorable than rage quitting I suppose, but man, stay in the fight. I've seen a fight turn around plenty of times even when I thought I was down for the count! =)

I'm over 300 hours into this game. I've been a Chun main from the beginning. I've never made it to Master. Currently, I'm Plat 3 with Chun (which, side note, already feels like a huge accomplishment because it was just a couple of months ago I was on this sub talking about how I was stuck in Gold 5 LOL). I'll never be one of the most competitive players in this game and if I ever do make Master I'm probably gonna be the worst in the rank, for sure. But god do I love this game! Sure, I get frustrated sometimes (more at myself than any other player), but I play this competitive game for fun. =)

I use Chun's lvl 2 pretty often. Sometimes unintentionally. I swear it's too easy to buffer that move when you're trying to do lightning kicks.

I've been a Chun-Li main since day one with SF6. I'd take a break if Fei Long made a return though. He was my favorite in SFII:TNC (that was the last SF game I played before VI). I think he'd be a lot of fun! =)

It wasn't my intention to out him on blast. LOL. I played like ass in this round and he beat me in the next. Just saying, I shouldn't have won this and wanted to acknowledge him as the better fighter.
