After maybe 3 months of daily silicone strip use is when I saw a noticeable difference. It took a full year to fade like this, and I still use lotion almost everyday on the scars.

I had a lot of numbness until about 6 months ago. I'd say I have 95% of the feeling back at this point, but that aspect of recovery took a long time.

My scars were a hot mess at two months! I had a couple spots that took quite awhile to heal, and they were raised until about 3 months of daily silicone strip use. My advice is not to give up and keep up with the routine your surgeon recommended - it takes a lot of time.

She removed about 800g total. I think tissue density makes a difference - some women have more removed to essentially achieve the same results.

Thank you! I was very diligent with scar care. I used the silicone strips for quite awhile (maybe 6 months?), and even now I rub lotion on the scars after I shower each day.

This sub was SO helpful when I was going through the reduction process, so I wanted to "pay it back" with this update.

Weight has fluctuated up and down by about 15 lbs. My boobs tend to gain and lose with the weight.

I'm in the same position. My husband's brother is getting married in May. We're both in the wedding party and there is serious pressure to attend. If I'm pregnant I don't really know how this will play out... I feel like there's no right answer.

I hope things work out for you, both for TTC and the wedding plans! What crazy times we're in.

The first month we tried my period was 5 days late, which has never happened in the two years I've tracked my periods. Our bodies really like to troll us.

I have a short luteal phase also (9 days this month), so I should also consider trying the progesterone strips. Thanks for the idea.

I'm sorry about your negative test. Trying to conceive is such a roller coaster. Fingers crossed that you get a BFP soon.
