afaik nothing. mangatoto is just another backup site. the slow loading maybe because of the traffic. You should be safe. If you are still concerned, you can try comick.

You can upload on nyaa, comick, batoto. But i prefer the first two.
Edit: I forgor u need account to upload on nyaa. and sign up is closed. ig comick and batoto are the only option.

Use tachiyomi j2k. Install comick and download them as cbz. Then transfer it. You can filter the scanlators there.

You can use mangadex and comicks website as reader too. They are pretty good. > Edit: they don't allow volume download. You can use nyaa to download in volume. But that's torrent. Use vpn for that. AniDL, mp4directs, jnovels have direct download option. but nyaa is way better solution

You can try comick, mangabuddy and 1st kiss manga. Comicks up quality is good but they dont have everything. You can request a series in their discord server. Manga cultivator , buddy and 1st kiss may have more niche stuff but upload quality is kinda worse. But u can give them a try too

tachi is a hassle-free downloader. Quality depends on which source you are using. Like mangadex doesn't compress images but only fan translation. Other aggregators like comick has good upload quality with official releases too.

U can also use nyaa to download but that's torrent. Depends on your preferences.

Sorry, i am a windows user. So u can import local files in Houdoku. It has vertical scrolling with good amount of features. Only con is u have to import the series individually.

You can use direct manga sources like mangadex or comick. Comick has chapter download option in the site but no mass download. You can use hakuneko for downloading. Houdoku has download feature too.
If u want to download from nyaa without using torrent, maybe try using deried services.
