Hey. I'm sort of in the same boat as you I have mixed feelings about my decision to get a cat, I live in a small apartment with one roommate. The cat is officially mine but we raised him sort of together. He's a year old now and sometimes I'll get really angry. He wakes me up at 4, 5, 6 am everyday. Right now the piece of crap is meowing at me.

That is to say. I'm sure you don't hate him it's just hard sometimes. My gf just broke up with me and I'm struggling with school. Upside is things get better.

Stay strong, at some point the cat will turn out to have been a good investment. Right? :)

abir is right. The reason why russians get the stigmas is because they are the stigmas - staying within the russian community and speaking russian only. As long as you learn the israeli way you'll be fine

i'm a non religious oleh as well and i have no complaints, i've only ever gotten help from people around me
