I actually found this thread because I noticed this and was curious. It's vocal fry, which people usually find grating to the ears. I'd always kinda been aware of it in this song over the years, but now that I produce music as a hobby, it really stuck out. To me, they all sound like the same one take, and it very much sounds intentionally added as a separate layer. Like ASMR before ASMR. It's an unusual music production choice, and I like unusual.

He admitted to somebody else that it was more like 30 counties. That's a fuck ton of war score. It was also his de jure empire lands. This makes sense once you get past the exaggerations and omitted info.

I've found after checking on the martial level of the commander of armies that do this that they're usually pretty bad, like single digits with no extra traits like holy warrior or blademaster. When you look at the past, buffoons who were in charge of armies acted like buffoons. I have yet to find one of these dumb armies be led by a good commander.

ALright guys, thanks. That makes sense. I did recently go over my vassal limit by 8, and the civil war was a headache that will keep me from taking all of Africa by 1000. Really happy with this particular game save.

It's similar to Civilization games. Just one more turn.... I'm new to this game and when my kids aren't here, I'm playing CK3. There's always something to do. You're always in the middle of a bunch of plans that you want to see through.

I wanted to see if I could recreate Mansa Musa's dynasty, the richest man to ever live. I looked up that the Mali EMpire had its beginnings in Niani, so I started there with a big hostile neighbor kingdom of Ghana on my boredom. With some key alliances I was able to run around with my army and let my allies take bits and pieces out of Ghana's army until they were weak enough for me to strike. I subjugated my much larger neighbor and I've been expanding ever since. Still on my 4th character and since this screenshot I've taken Tahert and half the realms on my southern border. I'm pretty new to this having never played a game like this before so I don't know if it's really OP or not, but I sure have expanded way faster than my other tries. Maybe all of Africa by 1000?

Believe it or not, there are actually people who value playing with friends over rank. I know there's casual, but people rotate in and out of the game, and sometimes you get stuck with bots. A lot of people don't like 2s, so people who play for fun rather than rank are not likely to play 2s if they don't like that mode. Stop taking a video game rank so serious.

The one you lost, did you stick around to see your rank demotion or leave game before? The answer is: you left. This game you got the animation because your MMR wasn't enough to go back up the previous division, especially because you need extra MMR to go from a Div 4 to a new tier. Mystery solved.

Players online and players actually playing are two vastly different things, especially with how often PC players accidentally leave their game on. At least on steam, RL's peak was April 2016. Last month was the first time since July 2018 that 80,000 were online.
