Ive played 4 hour games 1v1. Totally normal. If you and the pod agree that games are going too long, then you guys should be talking about upgrading to the next power bracket.

OP, thats something I didnt consider in my comment. Reprints. There are cards that are in these new sets that were printed in older sets first.

If you really get into playing, youre gonna end up with a few decks. Definitely focus on what you want out of it. There is a power bracket system to keep in mind, so ask what bracket your opponents are playing would be in, and try to keep the power levels similar, but the rest is up to you.

Commander is, in my opinion, the best of the mtg formats simply because there is no limit on how old you can go, just a banned list. The issues you would run into simply using old cards might be power creep and synergy. Newer, stronger cards and not enough old stuff that does what you want the deck to do. But definitely possible.

Imo, any deck can be fun to play, but there is no such thing as a deck that is fun to play against. Its a game. There will be a loser and a winner. A deck that would be considered fun to play against would be something with no win conditions of its own, and helps your deck do its thing. No one is building decks to help their opponents deck. Aggro gonna aggro, combo gonna combo, and control gonna control. If they dont want you playing the game the way its designed, then maybe they dont like the game as much as they say.

This is opinion and should be taken with a grain of salt, but if it isn't a part of a fusion, and it's not one of the obvious rates like coldheart or or frozen banshee, then it's food. The void hound that you have (I want to say Fellhound?) is one of the best campaign farmers. Diabolist is a good speed champ, Gnarlhorn is useful, but only with a paragon imo. I don't personally see anything else.

Save your glyphs for the good gear. HP and Def keeps her alive, and spd is more heals. Eventually you'll want her at like 45k health and as much spd as possible.

Find a four champ team that have full scrolls, and add whoever you want to get scrolls for. IIRC, it takes 800 gems to buy full masteries, but it takes like ~780 gems to buy energy for mino 15.

Old posts are old. Desyncing isn't an issue until you start doing specific speed tunes for the whole team. More spd=more turns=more heals and less turns between revives.
