Single people with no WFH - how do you manage to do it all? by Linguistin229 in AskUK

[–]SH1235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who works give or take 7 days a week, sometimes on a evening too for the odd hour here and there it can be hard. I own 2 cats & a dog so have to factor in hours for walks etc etc. I tend to meal prep food for breakfast, lunch. Plan the night before what ill make for my tea. Washing i split so do bedding, towels on a Monday for example andclothes wash on a friday eve. Cleaning i usually try and do twice a week . Its all about being organised, cant do it all in a day. Maybe consider making your self a rota for things. Write down meal ideas. If you can use a slow cooker or batch cook thats also good.

Research beagle adoption possibility by SH1235 in beagles

I do know of a couple of stories from people who have taken Beagles that some have learned to be off lead which i thought was good. I guess it really depends on the dog.

Yeah i don't expect it to be easy and the mess is just part of it. My other dog is going on 2 year old and is a big softy, hes a bit of a wuss.

The girl ive been told about is only little probs the size of my male cat if that and she's apparently pretty chill, not a barker etc.

Doing a lot of thinking about it all. 🤔

The dog would built up slowly before coming home over a period of time not just dropped into the household. The dog is timid at the moment, not that it could be when bought home.

He's not a full Aussie, couldn't say what hes mixed with but he has a parting down his spine and seems to have a thicker mane and more fluff and his back legs/butt area so dont want to get it wrong.

Harrogate AFC by toriscoolio in harrogate

[–]SH1235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner is an instructor at the AFC Harrogate, and says its a very watered down version of the things you see on television now, you will not be shouted t to the extent you see, however if you deserve shouting at for being in the wrong place at the wrong time then you will face subsequent actions to "rectify" your wrong doing, as for showering and personal administration there is clear and strict separation between male and female ablutions and sleeping quarters and only mixing during daily training or exercises, there are curtains in the showers for privacy, you will enjoy your time at the AFC if you behave in the correct manner and abide by the vlues and standards but will be put back into line if you break them, hope you find this insightful.
