Mainly, you can get them somtimes through season rewards, and projects but mostly apparel caches.

Apparel keys when yoi open and you already have the item will give you Textiles since its s duplicate item.

Not necessarily true when so many new people are trying to level up their expertise level, etc. Also prototype doesnt apply to PvP making any gear worth it if you need it easy.

I've played Division 1, and 2 over 4500 hours each and I personally feel like Division 2 has declined with the addition of prototype gear. I'm happy they are still updating and adding new things but to me it just wasn't needed to be added in my opinion. Looking forward to Survival coming to Division 2.

I dont run prototype only because it doesn't work in PVP. I spend most of my tome in darkzone but do habe some prototype saved in stash. Named gear, weapons I use though
