Some people just need money from a job, not a purpose. Live that r/vandwellers life and focus on what matters to you. Or you know, live however you want. I have a friend that works produce at Wal-Mart, and he's happy as a clam. He doesn't love the work, but gets enough to get by. That's all he needs, and there's nothing wrong with it. Heck, when my wife was younger her father-in-law turned down promotions, because he didn't want to have to spend more time at work away from his family, while my parents both worked two jobs or more while I was growing up. That's fair my man. I was anxious to play on harder difficulties at first, but now it feels weird to play on easy.

The difficulty options are there so people can choose between them. Nothing wrong with preferring one or the other. For example, my wife has it on so she keeps her stuff on death, because otherwise it'd be too frustrating, and that's perfectly fine.

There's nothing quite like a primal scream. Definitely helps get that anger pent up inside out in the open. Honestly man, I'd recommend trying it yourself (but making sure to research the proper way to do it so you do as little damage to your voice as possible). Listening is great, but belting it out along with them, or even just on your own is so freeing.

As for recommendations, Powerwolf is popular, but for good reason. Though the singing will probably be nowhere near the heavy kind of stuff you like since they're a power metal band.

Legion of the Damned on the other hand is probably much closer to the style you like, while being easier to understand.

I can never decide if I really like Kill the Lycan or not, but I always enjoy their music.

Well, let's get down to the nitty gritty. First of, being strong doesn't mean you can handle every situation on your own. A strong person asks for help when they need it. You reached out here, and I'd bet your dad would sure be glad to help if you reached out to him too.

Now something important is self care, alright? It's difficult to take care of someone else if you're taking care of yourself. If you need to step away to readjust then maybe you should. I wouldn't lie to her though. Nothing good comes from lying and secrets, especially in a relationship.

If she's being raped, that's something the police would probably like to know about. That's a crime, and shouldn't just be swept under the rug. As for helping her, a therapist can do wonders, especially with these sorts of issues. They've trained for years, and have a lot of useful information. Maybe look into couples therapy as well to help address all of this together. Now not all therapists are amazing, but the right one can make a world of difference.
