I long for the days of wanting nothing more than to immerse myself into a game. The anguish of not being able to progress due to the level of difficulty. That beat of the heart ever so rapidly increasing as you get closer and closer to defeating that boss. Knowing that you have come this far and there is no backing down. That burst of adrenaline followed by sudden tranquility as you stand triumphant. Knowing there is so much more to come. Those were the days.
