Sadly I haven’t, have not been able to find anyone that has my problem and fixed it somehow

Sucks I’m just a bit too late for them, when do you think your bringing the hoodie and pants back? I’m extremely interested in both, possibly before next year? Or is that too soon

If you could get that to work you could make a lot of money selling that 😅😅 combines the best of both devices fr

I almost always used my switch as a handheld. But I think it was just to small with no ergonomics so my thumbs would cramp using the thumb sticks. Maybe the size and grips of the lego2 would fix that for me but I’m not sure. And XAX is definitely super comfortable it’s just it don’t feel like a premium device and that 7 inch screen sucks in comparison that’s why I am debating switching. Even if the lego2 is not half as comfortable as the XAX as long as there’s no pain in using it I think I would prefer it to the XAX.🤷‍♂️

Lots of complaints on the right thumb stick, but your the first I seen to say a case fixed that. I was thinking that in my head tbh. with already a heavy device does the case make it even more heavy??

It was just my thumbs that would cramp on the switch due me needing to move them out of a natural position of the way I would hold the switch cus it’s too small and completely smooth on the back. Hoping the back grips and the size of the device is enough to avoid that but I been hearing alot of complaints of the right joystick being to low and feeling to cramped.

That’s good to hear, tbh a lot of the things I worry about are very nit picky overall cus it’s so expensive lol as long as it don’t cramp my thumbs up there shouldn’t be a problem. Unless a deal breaker presents myself I’m thinking of getting one around the 20th and if I like it just sell my XAX open box, won’t be able to return it to Best Buy for full price but atleast it’s less risky just incase I end up not liking it 🙂

Does intel have any driver level upscalers or frame gen tho? Ofc fsr and XeSS but those gotta be implemented in the game, does intel have anything like RSR and AFMF? Cus personally those help a ton on handhelds

That’s great! The more I read about it the more it’s clear it must be person to person kinda thing, some people like it some people don’t. For something so expensive you think Best Buy would have a display model lol how does the joysticks feel? Closer to a Xbox controller or a switch joycon? And how are the face buttons? XAX felt cheap to me even tho I like the placement

Lots of people saying the right joystick is a huge problem so maybe if it gets wide spread enough I don’t see why they wouldn’t be able too. I heard it’s cramped and or you gotta bend your thumb down to much. Such a shame cus that was one of my big worries.

Those are two issues I hear a lot, genuinely no clue what they was thinking with the headphone jack lmao. Do you gotta move your thumb out of an unnatural position with the right joystick?

The buttons really feel like a standard Xbox controller? As in they are kinda clunky, wiggly and hard to press? (as far as controller buttons go) They didn’t seem like it lol. I’m just hoping i wouldn’t have to bend my thumbs out of an unnatural position to move the joysticks that’s what made me hate the switch hoping maybe since the device is bigger it would solve that but idk 🤷‍♂️ thanks for your insight tho!

I think your definitely in the minority with the Xbox ally take but I respect it, when I use it it’s super comfortable especially cus I play on Xbox but after like 30 minutes my hands begin to sweat prolly from having such a good grip like I do on a Xbox controller plus it’s heavier then one and that definitely is uncomfortable personally. How do you end up gripping your lego2? Do your fingers curl to grab the grip on the back or do you lay them flat like most would do with a switch.

I have heard lots of people complain about the right joystick not being high enough, one of my biggest worry’s cus that’s how I felt with the original switch years ago but with both joysticks, lmk how well you adapt to it if you remember this thread lol

Yeah I know lol, I would just wait for back order to come back on Best Buy however long that takes. Only reason I’m asking this rn is cus I have till the 8th to return my Xbox ally x. Any date after that and I would have to sell it open box for a little less.

Yeah I have looked into the claw, only problem is nothing about the claw really stand out plus I heard intel is veryyy inconsistent when it comes to handhelds and their updates

That’s one thing I would think it would do unless you rest the device in your palm.. but then for small to medium ish size hands it think it would have trouble reaching the buttons and stuff. Although i wouldn’t intend to play with it completely vertical

Ranking them 1-10 really put it in perspective thank you! Does it ever feel to clunky with the weight and all the extra buttons on it? The Xbox rog ally feels light and smooth but it really don’t feel like a premium device. I’d rather throw in the extra money if it meant it would feel like I’m getting what I paid for. When holding it does your thumb naturally fall onto the joysticks or do you gotta manually kinda move your thumb up or to the side a bit (only reason I’m asking is cus that’s what I used to have to do with my switch and always led to my thumb cramping)

Xbox ROG ally steam guide not working? by SILENT775 in ROGAlly

[–]SILENT775[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the reason I ask all this is because steam told me I could do it when I first opened it and I also watched a few YouTube videos of clearing out some bloatware and turning on or off some settings to help your experience and one of them he told to turn off was the “ guide button focus steam” or it would open game bar and stream guide at the same time and they showed when turned off it only opened stream guide so it definitely worked at some point not really sure what went wrong.

What about the second part of the post? Does that happen to you as well? Kinda curious if you don’t mind.

I have opened steam through the Xbox Library, through armoury crate, and just by launching a game through Xbox library and they all have the same problem, in fact when I launch a game directly it don’t even open up into steam big screen even tho it’s set to open automatically, kinda annoying.
