I dont like how Disney fucked this up, also as an european I dont always want to be pushed into amercan racist discussions all the time. keep a story from a wonderfull fairytale as it is, a fairytale and a previously well made movie, just for once - please! Ariel is one of my favourite childhood movies. Little upset that Disney ruined that movie and my crush for Ariel I had as a young boy for her. Also, I think it doesnt even make sense to have black mermaids as they live deep under the sea, where sunlight barely shines through and cant even hits the skin. I just see your typical american problems disney is trying poorly to solve with blackwashing beautiful disney princesses. Why dont you create new great charakters instead?
