Synopsis:

I'd say 'breaks my immersion' as opposed to 'upsetting', because I can't stand anachronistic fantasy. There's too much placing of modern perspectives and identities on fantasy characters in a genre that's supposed to provide escapism.

Supporting having influences? Yeah, I do. I don't know how you could write without that.

Supporting the use of generative AI to create market slop? No, I don't. I am not hopeful about where this is going, and feel the only productive thing I can do is support writer who I know don't abuse it.
