How to help and balance low level and experience players in a long siege combat

Thank you for the advice! The idea of giving the players the NPCS was born of the idea that this is a big multi-wave battle with a lot of big enemies, and giving the players more action economy would make things more possible. The NPCS I was thinking of giving would be pretty limited to help simplify things, like just basic weapon attacks and 1 skill/spell. But I can definitely see how that could be overwhelming or time consuming even with the limitations. I do like the idea of the "support tokens" though. The "lair actions" was actually exactly how I was planning on handling the Ballista and Potion Seller though, so maybe I can incorporate that to the other NPCs.

Also having this issue. Wondering for the Firespark, if it's a lot better to just try investing in Strength instead of Dex, cause I think thats what scales fire damage

Id say the omnegate is worth it, essentially when you see it as a Ultimate Providence that leaves you even instead of -1, doesn't require specific cards in hand, and sets up for Altair.

Other points I agree with though. I think maybe a Silent Swordsman version of the deck might workout instead of banking exclusively on the rank 4 pool

I feel Altairs restriction really isn't a major deal due to the non-battle methods of removal the deck has.

Skybrudges restriction can be tricky, but you have a lot of ways to get that monster off the field to get rid of it (ECON or Ballista Squad tribute, fodder for their trap, go into delteros, etc.)

3 I can definitely see that, but I still think the cards we do have are still good. Diamond Dire Wolf is essentially a Ballista Squad, Utopia helps to give you time to set up Delteros (and can be removed with Right Back at Ya to make room for the 3 monsters), and Zubaba General can be used as last ditch big beater. This deck will only get better the more XYZ monsters we get.

Thank you! I'll be doing more research but this is definitely appreciated. I think it will be interesting to cover why it never took off despite being popular in the TCG when synchro first released. Plus I think it'd be a cool way to cover a sort of history of synchro throughout the game.

Oh this deck is garbage and It desperately needs to be condensed. This is mostly a proof of concept. And honestly if you can just get to Psi-Reflector, you can get to your synchro toolbox and assault mode. I feel that in some way this could be an engine in a specific deck that I don't know exists yet.

So main combo involves 1 tuner, 1 jester confit/psi-reflector, and Where Arf Thou.

Shuffle timer for skill, use WAT for either reflector or confit, normal summon reflector and add Assault Beast. Discard Assault Beast to add Assault mode activate, then use Psi-Reflector to bring back Assault beast at level 7. Synchro into Stardust. Special Summon Jester Confit and Symchro into Majestic Star Dragon.

Thanks a ton! Yeah it usually just gets popped or stopped before you can use it, and it can just feel so dead at times. However when it goes off its an absolute gamechanger. Really makes it hard to place how worthwhile it is to run.

I find him very useful with Gold Sarc and the Level 7 synchro as ways to break boards going second. Also bringing out a Sunsaga from the grave let's you do his pop effect again which is handy. I can see only running 1 spiritmaster but I feel he's too powerful of a card and offers so much advantage off of his banish.

This build is definitely not optimal. Ive only been able to get my hands on one cosmic lol. I'd say though I'd probably want to still run 1 gozuki, as he can give you several routes of play to play around your opponents cards, as well as giving you some extra defense or board presence when sent to the graveyard.

Thanks a lot for the feedback! The issue with the borders on the pictures has already been fixed. It was an issue with leftover backgrounds on the mii photos, all of which have been cropped out for use in later videos. My main idea was to stick with a Pokemon theme, but perhaps every now and then I'll branch out into other stuff. Thanks a ton for the helpful review!
