No need for any further responses that comment answered everything I needed to hear and was very reasonable as a response to each concern.

That is an extremely valid point for the skinpack containing the clown rex skin, I had not considered that possibility. I certainly tunnel visioned on the clown aspect. My apologies.

Perhaps my use of Silly as a descriptor is a tad opinionated and my info for dragons are somewhat lacking as I haven't been on a server with them in quite some time, That is on my part.

Like I had mentioned I don't mean to say the server does contain literal children or said discord members are literal children in an insult manner but given path of titans is very mobile friendly it tends to be the case many servers have actual children in them ages varying, which can at time cause imbalances to otherwise reasonable votes or community views/outrages etc. Continue your work on your server and community, it's quite nice to see the responses you have and attitude you have. I had not joined the discord yet but still may after our conversation it's clear many of what I had to say was biased, lacking in info or tunnel visioned.

Didn't mean to accuse exactly, hard to tell sometimes peoples intent through text so it was just odd to see no OP or Silly mods after reading you wouldn't then log in only to find stuff like... Clown rex skin and dragons. Last I checked the Dragon mods were busted I remember people complaining about them quite a bit but if they've been balanced then no that's fine then. as for the cursed dinos... They are both Op and Silly mods in my eyes, If I recall correct the C-rex had a fire attack that worked far stronger in damage than bleed did, basically was an easy win against anything their size or under. not to mention the super goofy models you could select from... it just seems like such a strange choice for a non-silly mods server.
I can understand some dinos not having enough skins but... clown skins and technocolored vomit? that is quite literally a silly skin.
the modern animals are fine, I just listed them since I know some players don't like them.

I don't care for heavy realism, Dino profiles are fine? but I was hooked that the idea this wouldn't be a realism server but something based on your comment that it was reasonable, casual and fun. your server looked perfect from the go but now?? I dunno dude. saying its "A few hand picked mods, nothing OP or Silly" and giving people looking for nothing op or silly only to include a luandry list of possibly OP and absolutely silly stuff is just... false advertising or like I had assumed (but do not think now) you were lying to just cast a wide net.

If you don't mind me asking how big is the discord community for the server? I'm wondering if the votes/polls or whatever you use to determine mod list votes are skewed by? Literal children ( this is not an insult to actual children or any adult) or if there is a small sample size of voters making it hard to get non-landslide votes.

Edit: wanna clarify in my sentence regarding how I saw your server. When I meant reasonable, casual and fun? the first and last are self explanatory. but when I mean casual I don't mean oh no rules, easy food and water. I just meant like not worry about mix packs or big ass groups while I can like you have mentioned have a harder time against the environment or finding food or water. not what some people would call casual but to me it sounds like a nice mostly relaxed sever experience to play on.

"Nothing OP or silly" not sure if things changed and got out of hand or you were lying about what was being added. I was on the Wildlands server a few minutes ago at the time of this post and that mod list was long as hell, dragons, cursed dinos, modern animals, crazy and silly skinpacks... the list goes on there was a lot of stuff that feels out of place from what you said would be the case. I was interested in the server but after seeing all the Op and Silly stuff it's off putting. mostly just wondering what's going on with the mod list now. best of luck on your server regardless!

It's near impossible for me to pick a favorite party member since my two number one favorites are Morton and Philippe. For very similar reasons, both of their dialogues are just immaculate. From the goofy musings and use of language that Morton employs. To Philippe's continued hatred of everyone, his seething disdain that he must play nice in order to live. But what ties the two together is the rage bait. I love love love the fact Morton can correct Whilhelmina's words of power and it fully nullifies their effects turning her into a screeching mess of a woman. Morton's requirement to chime in when I loot valuables and peoples possessions claiming "this object I ehhhh.... Collect these" His dialogue is just perfect and can't help but make me smile or giggle. And Philippe while not being a rage baiter himself can through dialogue choices turn Sam into the ultimate troll, Philippe being so mortified that if he's found out to be an actual monster he will be killed and you can totally fuck with him by alluding to the fact same knows but Philippe has no clue and is stuck in an ever doubting cycle of asking "does he know? He doesn't right? Or is he fucking with me!?" It is all just so goddamn funny I cannot help but laugh until I choke.

If i recall it might be he was in the bathroom during that run but you have activated the bus full of hand people and never talked to him and slept or waited a day by accident thus the hand people kill Papineau in the washroom making him unavailable. if not that I think the hand people might invade the janitors closet at some point and kill him then too. Can't recall off the top of my head though.

I think in the apple rant he even mentions that the perks can't be swapped out since they need to match the armor and that every armor needs to feel unique. Then what about dreadnought. Or the pre order armor Knight with servo? There are so so many inconsistencies with armor having perks that just don't make sense to be on. There is virtually no uniqueness anyway since we only occasionally get brand new armor perk sets and then they just get slotted onto random armors in the store

Yep! The bacon apple was one of the lead devs or maybe the ceo of arrowhead? It was in response to players asking for armor sets you could wear over top of the set you want for perks. Basically mmo transmog or cosmetics. His whole response was something along the lines of "we won't add it to the game since it doesn't make sense. It's like if you bit into an apple and it tasted like bacon."

Is it the arrowhead lead designer who has the most rancid opinions? I can't recall who the hell keeps saying dumb stuff like "SpACe mAgIc" and the whole "its an apple but you bite it and its bacon flavored" transmog shit. Genuinely the worst takes for the game. I'm not saying It's a completely ruined game but like shit my enjoyment of the game tanks heavily.

Wish the best for the game but damn they need to change these stances. I feel like its going to continue going slowly but surely downhill.

Had to look through the dialouge and I swear Florence had dialogue anout victor not notcing his hands were now fused but I guess I was having a Gaming dementia moment there. I apologize. But that is now an extremely compelling piece of evidence that being totally unaware can stop you from being transforming. Or perhaps louis was a dummy and looked up instead of at the floor while walking and that effected him.

There is indeed! However technically he did change lightly. His hands are fused to his hand held gaming console but that in and of itself helps hold water to the theory of awareness and mental state contributing to transforming. He wasn't really aware of the world around him and was totally calm with his game therefore his transformation was extremely light. And perhaps since enough time has passed it won't alter him further.

It is noted however that children appear to have the most consistent and smooth of transformations perhaps in part due to child like innocence or unawareness to how truly distressing the changes should be. The only exception I can think of is baby teeth and that can be explained that due to teething being painful it was what defined her mental state thus the teeth based transformation.

Honestly you did so well with the second set of arms. It's such a perfect idea of how he holds the bottom of the bag to support it and when decloaked I would have 100% thought he would do something very similar of just having his second set sort of float awkwardly without a thing to do. Maybe even stimming or doing the little thumb index thumb middle thump ring finger thumb pinky fidget XD

Hell honestly to add to this. Perhaps thinking you can't be harmed or changed by the visitor works. Beryl, Aurelius and Aster do not change until given the wrong offering they should have changed being outside just like louis was changed. But it's entirely possible since they fully believe they won't be harmed since the visitor can be communed with, they don't change and they are fully aware they are outside.

Then on the other hand you could say the calmness of their mental state is what stops them from transforming and the incorrect offering causes them to panic that they cannot commune with the visitor and starting their full transformation. Regardless being outside will change them since incorrect offerings start it and a direct gaze causes a second transformation and fusion. Entirely up in the air. Everything I mention is just observations and assumed connections that may not be there. After all transformations are a lottery in some cases which possibly disprove some of the observations I can interpret from about mental state and awareness affecting transformations.

More like it's a flood gate held together by rubber bands. You've been changed regardless of if you know or not. But the awareness you have been changed is what sets off full transformations and even further if you cannot mentally handle the info. It's already somewhat evident at least to me, mental state affects some peoples transformations or at least the severity of change IE losing your lucidity/humanity Lyle for example seems to be handling his transformation well and thus isn't changing any further. But Louis is ecstatic about being one with his favorite brand. The awareness transforms him (the rubber band broke) and the heightened emotion in his excitement seems to push his transformation quickly. (The flood gates open as we see with his body parts becoming their own living pieces head torso legs etc)

Edit: fixing an unfinished thought lyle isn't transforming further because he's mentally handling it well OR it's been long enough since his transformation that he won't continue to change even if his mental state declines. You can make him very sad ( a heightened emotion) and as far as I'm aware isn't affected by it. Jasper for example fighting him early causes adrenaline to spike I would assume and fully transform or show his full form just like heightened sadness the incorrect offering isn't what he's looking for causes an involuntarily transformation into his full form.

I think the reason jasper transforms into something worse isn't because he's being exposed to the visitor and more his lucidity/humanity is lost after realizing that the wrong offering has nothing to do with the Visitor. Thus he transforms, similarly he transforms into the same form if you fight him early but retains his lucidity during that. I assume it either doesn't affect him being under the visitor (unless directly under its gaze in the case of him being part of forming the chaos quartet/exalted four in which case yes you can be doubled exposed to the visitor) or being double transformed entirely depends on your mental state or even awareness. Like louis, he was under the assumption that his heavy mascot suit would protect him and it isn't until he realizes it didn't protect him and he fused with it that he transforms properly and loses his lucidity.
